Well on Oct 25 it will be a year post surgery with Dr. Norman. It's frustrating cause I'll go for a couple weeks where I fell really good then I'll hit on week where I feel crappy 4 out of the 7 days. Then I may have a month which is quite good again - then the next is not so good. Not as bad as before surgery but the inconsistency is frustrating. Any other post surgery people experiencing this??
Well, I'm still feeling c**p after almost seven months, but my numbers are nowhere near the normal range, either.

What are your current numbers?, just out of curiousity? If they are in the normal range and you were sick for a long time before, I do believe it's entirely possible that full recovery can take 3 to 5 years. I've talked to a LOT of people who've had that happen. And precisely two people who had the insta 'feel like a new person' thing happen.

Hi Leida,

I just had blood work today actually so it'll be a couple weeks yet. But a few months post ssurgery PTH was 44 and calciums (ionized was my problem) were in normal range. My phosphates were still low. Have you ever had yours monitored?
