On 8th May i had a surgical abortion at 10weeks pregnant. I bled lightly for about 5 days afterwards and all my pregnancy symptoms were gone. I started on the contraceptive pill the day after the abortion 9th may.
I had sex with my partner a week later. A week after that i started experiencing pregnancy symptoms and got a positive test. Thinking i was pregnant, i stopped taking the pill and continued having unprotected sex with my partner. My pregnancy symptoms started to disappear and i found out that the positive test was probably due to left over hormones.
However, until i found this out i had been having unprotected sex with my partner for almost a month. It will be 5 weeks tomorrow since my abortion and i have not yet had a period.
I started getting pregnancy symptoms (sensitive boobs, pain in my side/period pain feeling, urinating a lot) again on Friday 8th June and had a very faint positive test today.
I am very confused as to whether i am pregnant again or whether i still have the hormone remaining in my body. I am driving myself mad by looking up symptoms etc. I have a doctors appointment booked for this wednesday but am deparate for some advice or opinions please!
