Well about a week ago i felt like i had a dry spot in the back of my throat that just wouldnt get undry. As the week went on it started to feel as if something was stuck on the upper right side. It felt as if it was a popcorn kernel or maybe a piece of rice or something but sometimes it would even move. No matter how much i try to swallow though it doesnt go away. It doesnt hurt and i have no problem eating or drinking. Its just annoying and uncomfortable. Maybe a few days ago though i started having shortness of breath and really bad chest pains and one and off during the day my throat would be soar. Then to make thinks a little bit more strange different parts of my body will experience a shock of pain and lock up and its mostly in my arms. I dont know if the muscle pain and the issue in my throat are related but it is causing me to freak out just a little bit. Can anyone help me out and give me an idea of what may be going on???
Since there are new symptoms showing up, I think you will have to see your doctor who will probably check for any infection first and then start to look into other options as to what might be causing this. The thing is, even something you don't usually relate with sore throat, like stomach acid re-flux or heartburn, can cause parts of your throat to become more sensitive. The pains in your throat could be associates with the stomach acid, but pains in arms most likely are not, these pains as what you have described are more common for some respiratory infection.

blonde baby, I have one of these spots and also had SEVER muscle cramping in my legs and feet the other day like i have never had before! AS you described Like they locked up and i couldn't move them but extremely excruciatingly painful. Like a toe cramp when you are swimming only it was both legs thighs calves and feet- lower body charlie horse. VERY STRANGE and a bit scary could not get them to release for a ahwile. 5 to ten minutes with breathing and relaxing and tryin got shake them out.

Sternocleidomastoid muscle might be the problem.

I feel as if I have something stuck in my throat but it only shows up every now and then. No pain, it's just very annoying. Any idea what this could be?
