I am desperate to know what these symptoms are if anyone knows: Problems in general seemed
to start with digestive problems about 7 weeks ago and this is still ongoing. However, what worries
me the most is the following and it happens frequently. I get very tired around t time every day and
have to sleep for a couple of hours. Then at bed time I get to sleep ok but wake up constantly thru
the night EVERY 1 - 1 1/2 hours, never more than 2 hours sleep at a time! Try to just go back to
sleep. Then between 3-4in the morning. I wake, often with a jolt, either feeling anxious or way
beyond that ,almost instant terror, my stomach either burning (sometimes intense) or just feels odd,
like a vague hunger feeling. (Reflux?) My heartbeat is very fast (palpitations?) and I can feel my
heart beat in my head and ears, my palms are sometimes sweaty, I feel hot and a bit shaky usually
just in my back. Tinnitus is usually present particularly noticable then, but at other times too. These
feelings are almost wavelike and don't usually last that long. I do have a history of anxiety, panic and
depression but these feelings do not feel the same (other than instantly waking and being in panic
already) Also I often as I try to go to sleep have that 'jolt' that wakes me instantly. Have had
recent blood tests, 1 of which was thyroid and all came back normal with the exception that my blood
sugar was boderline/high. ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON? I am 52 and I think I have almost
reached menopause. I do find that I feel generally anxious on a morning which subsides sometime
after breakfast but is generally around at a low level.
I wake up feeling very nauseous every morning. I had a full hysterectomy about 7 years ago. I am 50 years of age. Is this normal?
