any alternative treatment for quadriplegia?

I have been more and more unhappy about the treatment which my son, who suffers from quadriplegia, has been receiving and frankly the medication seems to help progressively less. This has now led me to research possibilities of alternative treatment, which I had never been open to before. If you have any relevant comments on this, I would be very happy to hear from you.
