It is important not to stop with antibiotics! if you stop and exchange it for some other over the counter medication such as Uristat you could make serious complication to yourself. First of all, although all other symptoms, except burning sensation, are gonne that doesn’t mean that your infection is gone as well. You need to finish the entire course of antibiotics to prevent spreading of this infection to the rest of the urinary tract.
If you can’t stand the burning sensation you should go to your urologist again. It is possible that you have developed another infection, such as yeast infection, because of the antibiotics. this happens very often and there is no reason to panic. I hope that you will get better soon.
