Yes, I had a deviated septum corrected with Dr. Guida. What a nice guy. Professional, personal, down to earth and his price was reasonable. I would recommend Dr. Guida to even my mother in law....!!! Seriously, I felt 100% comfortable from the first minute. Nice guy. Good Doc.

Hi,
I also had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Bellin, in April of 2009. He did not check much at the consultation and did not require a CT scan. I could breathe completely fine before the surgery. Right after the surgery he informed me that I had had a badly deviated septum and that is why the surgery had taken longer than it was supposed to. The surgery took 3hrs onstead of the 1 hour he had predicted!
And yes, I also woke up at one point during the surgery... horrible experience! Now i have a list of issues! I can't breathe properly, I have a huge hole in my septum, which I was told can not be fixed, I get easily sick (sore throats and such) as my nose can't protect me anymore, there is a big chance of bridge collapse, the left side of the tip of my nose has a dip, because he took too much from it, my nose is a little crocked and the list goes on and on!
He offered to fix the tip of my nose with cartlidge, but I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO HIM!
I also am thinking of filing a suit against Dr. Bellin! My revision surgery, which I am strongly considering, will help, but will not revise all the damage done! I am extremely upset and furious that a doctor such as him, that has caused so many problems to many people, is allowed to practice!!!! HE SHOULD BE STOPPED! Something that started as a minor cosmetic surgery for me, ended up causing not only cosmetic damage but physical damage to the nose and breathing issues that never existed before!

Please, if anyone knows of a good lawyer, or if anyone has already sued Dr Bellin and succeeded, please let me know!
Thank you so much!

I had rhinoplasty with Dr Bellin back in 2003 as well. He said he would correct my deviated septum and fix the bump on my nose and that it would look very natural and normal. It was the worst experience ever. I too woke up mid surgery and tried to tell him that i was feeling pain and I began to cry. He told me all I was feeling was pressure and to relax, and had his anesthesiologist put me back to sleep . The results were no where near natural looking. I now have a uneven nose and have been suffering from breathing problems and sinus infections. Going to Dr Bellin traumatized me that it has taken me ten years to muscle up the courage to see Dr Guida to for help. I feel alot better know after reading your post. I just hope it doesn't cost too much. Did you find Dr Guida's  cost high?

I went through the same thing with Dr Bellin. I too woke up mid surgery and got bad results. The experience was horrible and I refuse to go back to him to correct it! His bedside manner was horrible and I showed no concern and dismissed everything I told him that i didn't like at my follow up appointment. He should have his license taken away! He has done enough damage to enough people! I was wondering if you ever sued him and what was the outcome?
