Hi, I'm a 21 year old male who's been using a particular masturbation method for about 8 years now, and I feel like the method might be making my penis descend into my body. I have also gained a fairly substantial amount of weight in this time, and while I suspect that the pubic fat pad is probably the culprit in my apparent shrunken penis, I cannot shake the feeling that my methods might also be contributing. Any ideas?
Yes, you are quite correct to link your weight gain to the sense that the penis may be shrinking away.

It is a common misconception that heavy set people have a smaller penis.

The most obvious thing that you can do is to loose weight.

Really, it is the single largest thing that you can do to reveal more penis and look larger.

It has nothing to do with you masturbation technique. Seriously, it can't hurt or diminish the size of it.

On the hand, what is the "particular masturbation method for about 8 years" that you have been practicing. Has it harmed you in any other way? Is it abusive?

I *have* been losing weight lately, though it starts in the face and legs for me, so it'll take some time before it reaches my torso.

My masturbation method involves grinding against bedsheets; it gives the sort of friction that my hands can't provide. It gets fairly fierce, so it's been making me worry...

Of course, I'm a fairly paranoid person, but I figure it's always better to ask.

That won't make your penis smaller. It won't wear away.

Keep up the good work to loose weight. You may want to ask at the local YMCA or a personal trainer just what exercises you should be doing to isolate the fat loss in your abdomen.

I wasn't thinking of it wearing away; I was thinking that the frequent pressure on it would cause it to be pushed deeper into my body.

I do not believe you can target which part of your body loses fat. If I'm not mistaken, it's just simply a myth. Of course, you can definitely target what muscles in your body you strengthen, which can increase the size of those muscles and possibly make that area look less fat. I think the original person with the question has the right idea to just simply work on losing fat by getting into a workout plan and hopefully by controlling diet. I am more likely to think that losing fat goes in stages and that the belly area is probably the last place for it to get lost. Good luck.

I defer to the most recent poster above. I wasn't suggesting that the questioner could remove ONLY the abdomen fat, but that his exercise program could be tailored to burn fat, as opposed to toning muscles. But, hey, both are reasonable goals.


As for "pushing it deeper inside", that just ain't what happens. The penis is firmly routed in the groin, and cannot be "driven back in".
If you have any doubt of this, feel between your legs, and probe with your fingers when you are erect and firm. You'll find the entire organ to be running between your legs in the area of the groin, perineium, or "taint" and unable to slip or slide anywhere.

A good book on sex ed or anatomy can also confirm this.
