I also conducted something a little like vertigo, where i'd get dizzy, i'd be nauseous, I'd feel so weak and tired, I had a major increase in appetite but lost weight, breast tenderness, and I couldn't stand it anymore, it's highly exhausting...

Throwing up after every meal.
No apatite, unable to eat anything, and anything I do eat I can’t keep down.
Severe 10 out of 10 3 hour migraines occur when exposed to direct/indirect sunlight.
Fainting. I fainted out cold 2 times. Once with my boyfriend when I tried to help him take down a tent he put up to air out before we go camping, and again with my dad when I tried to walk with him from the boat launch in Pembroke to the out door amphitheater.
Severe depression with thoughts of self harm. Consistently crying for 3 - 6 hours every day, and looking for sharp objects to hurt myself with.
Extreme anger, and mood swings for no reasonable, reason.
No G Spot, no sex drive, sexual attraction, interest in any form of intimacy, holding hands, hugging, or even kissing. One day I could feel my g spot with my finger, the next day it wasn’t there.
Severe anxiety, and panic.
Severe panic and anxiety when sleeping 2 - 4 violent nightmares EVERY night waking up with chest pains, and fear, as well as difficulty catching my breath.
Extreme fatigue. Normally I can walk from my apartment on broadview, down to giant tiger, and back in 1 day, during the hottest part of the day too. I couldn't walk from the boat launch to the grand stand out door theatre, without t passing out from exhaustion, dizziness, after seeing stars. Had to keep sitting down on the ground every few steps because I was so out of breath, and felt so sick. had severe leg, feet arm, and hand numbness, causing difficulty with balance and walking. Had to go home and rest up for hours after because of migraines from trying to be in sun, and exert myself for less than 10 minutes.
severe limb numbness and weakness in my hands arms legs and feet, even when sitting or laying down.
Difficulty walking. Poor co ordination, can hardly hold a pencil to write or walk because of numbness similar to to when our foot falls asleep but more painful.
Some blurred vision on and off, couldn’t read 1 page of a novel consistantly.
Difficulty talking, maintaining a conversation, thought, focusing, erratic thoughts and behaviors.
Stomach pains and over all body aches and shakes as if I were fevered.
15. Severe exhaustion. I could sleep 24 hours, if people let me.
All these symptoms and I only took Aviane 28 for 4 days.
Hello, thought I'd give some insight on my experience with aviane (aka Alesse, Altavera, Amethyst, Aviane, Enpresse, Lessina, Levlen, Levora, Lutera, Lybrel, Nordette, Orsythia, Portia, Sronyx, Tri-Levlen, Triphasil-21, Triphasil-28, Trivora-28 source: drugs(dot) com)
I first started on Aviane in 2006, a few months before my marriage. While on it, I noticed a decrease in everything relating to my period. (no more bloating, hardly any mood swings, lighter bleeding, no cramps, etc.) I even lost weight on this pill because it seemed to suppress my appetite a bit. I did experience occassional break through bleeding, but nothing serious. This pill, (or possibly the stress of a wedding, moving to another state, and graduating college all at once) did seem to elevate my blood pressure, which I was already having to keep a close eye on. I was worried it would affect my libido, being newly married, but I can say that was an unnecessary worry. One side effect I did notice steadily, however, was that it seemed to leech all the potassium from my body. I had to change my diet and my supplements to avoid painful cramps in my calves. Also my skin seemed more sensitive to the sun, but I had moved from NY to OK, so I was also getting more sun. Hard to say if that was a side effect. I stayed on Aviane for a year and a half, before I could no longer find a free clinic around that would prescribe it.
I was forced to switch to Orthotrycyclene (sp?) which made me so depressed I was suicidal. I was switched to Ortho low-dose, which caused even worse depression, almost institutionalized me, and messed my periods up for nearly a year after I stopped taking it.
Finally, recently, my local free women's clinic changed their policies to allow the gynos to write prescriptions for drugs other than ortho and depo again. I was very happy, and eager to get back on aviane, as I missed the lighter and more predictable periods, not to mention the security of birth control. I had been off BCPs of any kind for 4 years, and off aviane for 5.
When I started aviane, I made the mistake of trying to stack my first/second month. It caused a 38 day long period with the most awful cramps. But I take full blame for that, it was dumb on my part. Aside from that, the old potassium problem is back with a vengeance, I think even worse than before. I noticed some pretty strong mood swings the first 3 packs or so, I was getting angry easily and always irritable, but that seems to have faded now. It's not affecting my BP now that I have better control over it. I'm reaping the benefits of a suppressed appetite, and have lost a little weight. My boobs aren't getting bigger like everyone else claims. (bummer) but they are a bit more tender all the time. I'm loving the lighter shorter periods, and with all these awesome benefits I'd be willing to stay on aviane forever, but, here's the thing...this time around, I have no libido. Zero. I have not wanted sex even once in the last 4 months. What is the point of a birth control that makes you abstinent? It's driving me crazy, because I had a very healthy sexual appetite before. I can still orgasm when masturbate, but the actual thought of sex with a partner repulses me. I'm going to give it 3 more months and see if I can't find a way to counter it, but if I can't, adios aviane. :'( Also, I've been getting headaches much easier it seems, but I'm not sure that's related, as I've had a bad run with flus and colds this season.
Don't understand this...I have been on Aviane for many years, and have never had problems.
it is normal to start getting hair under your armpits around that age, its a normal part of puberty that all women go through. If you don't like the way it looks you can shave just be careful and use shaving cream or lots of soap cause it's a tricky area to shave sometimes.
If you use an anti-bacterial soap to clean the skin first then there is less chance of getting razor burn. If you feel comfortable you can have an adult who you trust show you how.
Its hard to get advice like this because every body is different so everyone will react differently to every pill.
Aviane is a lower dosage of estrogen and progesterone, but really there is no way to tell how you will react to it without trying it.
are you sure you're not just tired of your partner?
