I am about to start with frequent running and it would be only recreational running so therefore I don't pretend to be some professional or something like that but anyway I need to know something about avoiding injuries for how I was been told injuries are common in running so what I could do to avoid running injuries.

I think that proper running shoes are of big importance here they need to fit your foot conditions and characteristics so if you have high arches than the right choice for you would be the cushioning running shoes and if you have problem with your wrist than you should use so called motion control running shoes that are designed so that could help in avoiding injuries during running. So also you should choose the proper truck for running it is not like you could run over any kind of the ground if you want to avoid injuries and...why don't you take some advice from some running training specialist I am sure that is the right place to seek for such advice regarding avoiding injuries…and running.
