Best meds for shoulder pain?

Hi! I have problem with shoulder pain. I have pain while sleeping at night. Also I have pain over the outside of the shoulder. Doctor diagnosed me shoulder bursitis. He prescribed me Advil, but this drug doesn’t help me at all. What are best meds for shoulder pain? Does anyone have similar experience?

What is the multi vitamin compound you wrote for relieving shoulder pain ? Is it Glucosamine hcl ,and Calcium Citrate with magnesium& Zinc. Or any other Ayurvedic vedic supplements ?

Celebrex will stop the pain almost immediately. It also is helpful in therapy. I had to have 2 cortisone shots over a period of about 12 months. With first Celebrex pill I slept through the night!!
