I thought I had a sore throat but then the side of my throat with the sore started hurting and even my ear started hurting a bit as well.
When I opened my mouth wide, at the back, there was this big puss filled thing there! I'm really worried as to what it may be and why it's there as I've never had anything like that before. I gave my boyfriend unprotected oral a week and a half ago (we were both virgins).. could it be an STD?

You may have a form of a peritonsillar abscess. I had the same thing a few weeks back, minus the pus. It's a form of tonsillitis and could also be related to strep throat. Shouldn't have anything to worry about.
