I was in the shower today and the same thing happened to me. My vision started fading and I felt very dizzy and my ears where ringing like crazy, I felt I was going to pass out so I turned off the water and got out of the shower. That’s the only time that happened to me and I’m not sure what it is?

Im actually over reacting right now because I legit don't know what's happening to me. So, the same thing happened to me twice. The first one was two months ago and the other was 4 days ago. And im actually freaking out rn because the same incident happened to me in church, in church. At first I felt really hot and im dripping in cold sweat, then I could feel the blood in my whole body heating up. As I stand I suddenly felt as if I don't own my body like I couldn't feel it but still i have the will to stand so I stand, but I couldn't keep up any longer so I sat. Then suddenly my vision became blurry and so as my hearing all I can hear was the murmuring sound around me.

this just happened to me and i’m scared so i searched my symptoms and my first found was this. I’m 14 female. I woke up today with slight stomachache but i thought it was fine so i went to play basketball as usual (it’s a morning routine usually 2 hours or so) After about an hour my stomach start to feel unwell so i player for 15 more minutes and walked home. When i left i suddenly felt the intense feeling when you really had to go and i rushed to the nearest washroom and sat there for like 15 minutes. I was drenched in cold sweat so i walked home slowly. The road home is through a shopping mall so i went in there, when i came out of the door i started to feel a little light-headed. The thing is i’ve never been anywhere close to fainting so i didn’t know if this was it, i was scared so i called my brother who’s at home and told him to get me at the lobby of our building. It’s a sunny day but i walked in the shade and as soon as i hung up my eyes started turning blurry. I can still see the outline of trees and people walking by but everything is white like the sun just shown directly at me. I only heard muffled sounds and when i said something it’s like i’m underwater or when i have earplugs. I arrived at my lobby and sat down on the couch to wait for my brother and immediately my sight started to become normal and my brother picked me up soon. I arrived home and i lied down on the couch and everything returned normal, i fell asleep (no i didn’t faint) for an hour and showered. I don’t know what this is but my mother who’s a nurse told me it should be a heat stroke or stomachache cuz when peope have stomachache sometimes the blood doesn’t go to your brain?? i don’t know but it wasn’t that hot today and i was in the shade the whole time even when i was playing basketball. Someone tell me what’s happening and do i really have to see a doctor.

Happens to me fairly regularly. I think it's low blood pressure. My resting normal blood pressure is 90/40. When I'm stressed or ill the number can drop below this into an abnormally low range. If I don't eat properly, sleep properly or drink enough water I faint or get temporary blindness / deafness. It occurs most frequently when I stand up too quickly or when there's a change in air pressure (e.g. travelling on an underground train going up towards the surface or further down, going up / down in a long elevator, driving up / down a mountain, or descending / ascending in a plane that hasn't been properly pressurized).

I remain conscious throughout the episodes so I don't know if it's classed as fainting / passing out or not? I often lose the ability to stand up and I end up falling over or having to lie down with no motor control over my body but remain conscious. It's quite terrifying. Once I had vision and hearing loss for over 20 minutes and my extremities went numb (cut off blood circulation?) and then I suffered excruciating pins and needles when the circulation to them returned.

Doctors tell me it's nothing to worry about and dismiss my concerns. I feel that it really will be something to worry about if it happens when I'm driving one day and I crash and kill a load of people but hey ho...

This happened to me today. It scared me to death I thought I was passing out. I was at a choir rehearsal and it was extremely hot. We had to stand for long amounts of time. I was fine at first but I started getting light headed. The bright lights didn't help either. I also had woken up late that morning, meaning I didn't have time to eat breakfast. I would get these random pains in my stomach and I never wanted food more in my life then at that time. I can usually go without eating but I think not eating was one of the biggest mistakes I made that day. I wasn't teribly thirsty, but when someone asked for a water break I suddenly wanted water. Not only to get water but to move and be in a cooler area. But, he said no to the water. He said we could sit if we feel light headed because people in the pass have fainted. I had sat for a while and I stood back up. I was fine for a bit until something happened. It's hard to explain my vision started closing in and it was all black for a few seconds. My hearing was quiet like if you turn the volume down on your phone while watching a video. I cant remeber what was happening in the rehearsal at the time it happened. I totally blanked. I felt wobbly and I was holding to the bar on the back of the risers. We had a sitting break and I slowly became a little better. Then we had to stand back up and I would've fine for a while then I would start sweating again and like major sweating. This rehearsal was 2 hours long and it felt like 2 years because all I could think about was this. My face felt extremely hot and when it was over 3 of my friends came up to me and said I looked so pale and almost green. I think the whole combonation of the heat, bright lights, singing, my own thoughts, and my hunger were what made this keep going. When I was standing up all I could think about was the next time we were sitting down. It took a good hour for me to be back to normal. When I was sitting in my next class I started feeling better. I don't know what this was and I have never had something like this happen to me before. I agree it sounds crazy and like I'm exaggerating but this was one of the worst things I have ever experienced.
