I have been coughing up blood for going on 5 months... I have had CT scan ..X-Rays ... blood and sputum test I’ve also had throat nose long stomach scope and can’t find anything I’m still coughing up blood all day long and all night long started in December I have to go again for some more CT scan and some more scopes .... it’s a mystery they can’t find out what is wrong. I was in car accident in September and started to cough up blood the beginning of December.. I’m confused if it possible that car accident caused this? Any idea?? I don’t feel sick except pain from car accident in my neck and hip and headaches
Crazy... well I have coughing blood all day every day going on five months now and doctors/ specialist don’t have a clue ...
I too was bringing up blood, always fresh red blood, X-ray, cat scan, and a lung scoped all showed nothing...Once in a while I still bring up blood, but they think it's because I over did it with aspirin....I take 3 a day, .325 mgg to control my blood clots,
If that was the cause, then more people would fall victim to it
While the information you provided is vague - I can say this for me... I suffer from blood clots - Its POSSIBILE, that when a clot passes into my lung(s) followed by violent coughing (for any reason), additional stress is put on that vein, causing it to rupture...
Some people don't even know they get blood clots, I didn't know for years, (not that I bled when I did) except only two times; when there was so much blood... However now I think its because I over used Aspirin (1000 mg per day) making my blood and arteries so thin, either the vein burst, or.....? Not sure..
So if they can't find the cause on you - I got the same thing as well - "We don't know"
