Getting light brown or red spotting during early pregnancy is very normal. Only about 25% of women get this bleeding, but you should go to your midwife and report the bleeding, just to make sure everything is okay.
If the bleeding gets moderate to heavy, you really must report that immediately, because that can indicate a possible miscarriage.
As for your bleeding now, it sounds like early pregnancy spotting. Don't worry about it. :-)
