I hope you did see a doctor immediately...consistant blood in poop is not good. Make sure you tell the doctor EVERYTHING! Don't leave any symptoms out, and anything else that is going on, even if you don't think it is related to the stomach problem. Diet, activities, medications, family history, how long the lightheadedness/stomach/poop problems have occured, what the last doctors did/said...all of it.

Alright, Well, I’m 14 years old and for basically all my life my stomach has hurt me and I’ve had serious stomach pains and problems, but before I just thought it was what i was eating, up until now anyway. Well i went to the doctors and I’m getting tested to make sure i don’t have any serious diseases or anything, but i still haven’t gotten the test back, do to the fact that i only went on Monday this week. *its Thursday* and i actually have had to take stool samples in, and today when i did it i realized i did have a bit of mucus and maybe some blood in my stool, and that worried me slightly because i remember my doctor telling me it was a good thing that i didn’t and if i did it might be something more serious i could be looking at. Although I’m not sure, the everyday pain at all hours kills me and sometimes i cant even sleep I’m lying in my bed unable to move i hurt so much, and this is basically every night, sometimes i get it easy and its not until the morning my stomach is killing me, but lately its been getting worst.
I know it’s not much about the mucus and blood but i don’t know a lot, but i hope at least i helped a bit

I had these same symptoms when I was in high school (16-ish, I think?) A LOT of blood and mucus in my stool, cramps. I always had the feeling of having to poop and had little to no control over when I HAD to go. If it was coming, it was coming and there was no stopping it. I was embarrassed by the situation, so I waited until it was full-blown, a year later, before I told my parents that I thought I needed to go see a doctor. I saw a general practitioner, who did tests to make sure I actually had blood IN my stools rather than just on my rectum and the test proved me right. They then referred me to a gastroenterologist, who performed a number of (insert pretty much any prefix here)-oscopies and they couldn't find anything "wrong." Clearly there was something VERY wrong, but no one was ever able to tell me why this was happening. It was terrifying. After being told that they could find nothing wrong with me, we gave up and hoped it would get better. It did, luckily. It had been going on over a year and it just randomly stopped one day. So weird. I still have irregular stools and mucus every now and then, but haven't had any blood in years.

So I didn't really give any advice here........just know that you're not alone, I guess.

First, take a deep breath and try to master your fear. You will not help anyone by acting belligerent or loosing your ability to think clearly. To insist on "more tests" is both wasteful and frankly stupid... the reason your attending physician hasn't ordered more tests is that your physician is following accepted diagnostic method that, at the moment, does not indicate any tests are required. Think of it like this;

Problem; a lamp does not light up when the switch is tuned on.

Diagnostics: test the lamp; is it plugged in?
Result: plugged in, no light

Diagnostics: test the bulb; try it in another lamp
Result: bulb lights in another lamp

Diagnostics: test the lamp again; connect the lamp to a known-working outlet
Result: lamp connected to another outlet, bulb replaced, lamp does not light

Resolution: lamp defective, replace lamp.

... you see? the problem has been identified and no further tests are required. NOW -- to your problem; the real issue is that your daughter's doctor has not explained the steps he/she has followed sufficiently because you still don't understand why tests are not indicated. This tells me the actual problem isn't that the doctor "hasn't ordered more tests", rather the problem is that you don't trust that your daughter's doctor has done a good or complete job... which means you need a second opinion, not more tests... And for goodness sake, do not carry over any sort of adversarial attitudes to the next doctor... your goal is to help your daughter right? Remember, "the doctor" is the professional and most certainly knows what tests are indicated... but at the same time, if you loose your trust in the doctor's ability to complete their duties, it is your job as your daughter's advocate to find another that you can trust... even if it's because the next one can explain what's being done (and what's not) to your satisfaction.

PS: remember that medicine is an imperfect science... sometimes there isn't a test nor a method that can identify what the problem is ... in which case we are no better off than we ever were.... either the patient recovers, or she doesn't .... but that's not a reason to give up. good luck!

i have had trouble with constipation for over 4 overs now. Doctor says i'm healthy i just have to take more fiber but it hardly helps at all, no matter how much i take. so i'm taking a natural supplement to help me go and everything was fine except today i started pooping blood. And ppl are telling me maybe its just an infection that i need antibiotics but i don't want to take it antibiotics, cuz i hear it causes constipation sometimes. i don't know what to do!

Mucus in, around, or just it, is an indication of parasite worm in your colon and intestine.

No doctor will tell you that because they prefer to place a bandaid on the problem rather than look for the actual cause.  Your ass is itching because of bacteria release from the feces of the worms, and when you wipe, you spread this bacteria around your anus, then few minute later you itch.Try Mebendazole from a pet store (no flavor) as de-wormer, and follow the protocol of Andreas Kalcker (google it) to get rid of them.  If you don't do anything, you will have more and more health problem in the long run, various symptoms, that any doctor will be please to treat such symptoms and charge you for their services, without looking for the actual causes these symptoms.   The worms/parasites are the medical industry guaranty to make sure you are coming back for more treatments, and they will gladly squeeze your wallet and medical insurance like a lemon for it.

By the way, if you go get tested for worm and parasite by doctor, most test will come back negative 99% of the time, and they will tell you that there are no such thing, so don't waste your time and money.  Just do a worm cleaning protocol for yoursef (much less than visiting doctor), and you will be amazed at what will be coming out.  You will feel like sh*t from day to day on this protocol, including some pain anywhere in your body from time to time, but as the "c**p" comes out, you should feel better.    After a few days, when you see what is coming out, you will be motivated to continue the protocol...

Read also about MMS online, this can also help your overall imune system as well.

Good luck.
