I have a few questions about my father's medical problem. He had some problems with urination past couple of weeks, so we went to a doctor. He is 83 years old, so you might imagine how difficult for me was to convince him to go there. He had blood in urine no stones found, we are waiting for further test results, I am just so afraid that it might be the worst cause. What do you think?

I will admit that blood in urine is one of the symptoms of cancer (in kidneys, for example). Still, statistics say that very small percentage of those patients with blood found in urine is suffering from cancer. Most likely, we are talking about some infection, in kidney or some other part of urinary tract. That is easily treated with medications, so there is nothing to worry about.
