I am 41 yrs old, back in 2002 I have my right tube removed due to rupture and then in 2004 my left tube was removed. My cycle is about a week late and I wanted to know if anyone in the same case gotten pregnant naturally without IVF?

Hi Dboogie,

Yes, women can get pregnant after a tubal BUT the problem is that scar tissue usually obstructs the tube.  As a result you are very likely to have an ectopic pregnancy.  If so, it is not viable.

Sometimes you can just be late.  Take a home pregnancy test using your first morning urine for the best accuracy.

Good luck.

Miracles can and DO happen Dboogie.

Check with your ob/gyn. You may be able to have the tubal reversed. They can also check the tubes to see if they are intact and if so, if there is any significant scarring. IVF is also an option.

Don't give up! Good luck.
