I have the same swelling , feels gel like, no pain, on my left side for about 1.5 years or more and now starting on my right side. I go for an ultra sound today. Very worried...I do have a lot of sinus congestion and am hoping that it may be caused by that...infection maybe. I have no fever and feel fine. Just had open heart surgery and am recouping great from that. So happy to see that others are experiencing this...not happy you have it, but happy it appears to be common.

I got my ultra sound today and the Dr. And radiologists told me right away it is not in the lymph index, non cancerous and a lipoma...fatty tissue. Lots of people get them, usually 40 to 60 but can be younger. So I am certainly relieved. They can be removed if they become bothersome...can come back if not entirely removed...

I have the same soft swelling on the right lower part of my neck above my clavical. I had a cat scan and my doctor stated not to worry it is a fatty tumor... I have noticed it for about 5 months and it is a little bigger now. It does not hurt but does change in sizes. I have gained some weight in the last 8 months.

I had Lumps in my neck and also in the groin and was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Check it out with a BIOPSY...don't fool around with all the other c**p. I decided against chemo and radiation and am on Raw Foods, Juicing and Anti Cancer Supplements....Praying and hoping for the best. Still have a large node in groin and smaller ones on neck. My Pet Scan showed it in stomach, under and inside left arm and some in Spleen....Won't know about them till next Scan in October NO Symptoms yet but do have an eczema/dermatitis.

Just seeing this thread after researching the symptoms. I have what you have described & two dr's have told me I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Have you found out any more information since you last posted this? I've had TOS for 8+ yrs, but swelling over left clavicle just started in the last 6 months or so. I also have EXTREMELY tight muscles on entire left side of my neck. Would love any more of your input if you would be so kind!

Well i didnt even notice it myself. My brother and sister-n-law are the ones who noticed it while we were at the beach. They were really concerned, but if some of you have gone to the doctor and THEY dont know what it is, then what's the point? They dont hurt or bother me. When see in the mirror and touch them, i really just think they are part of the weight i have gained... I know, should see a doctor probably

I am 73, have had these soft swellings on both sides of nabout 6-8 months. eck at collarbone for over a year. At first I thought they were fat. Only suggestion that made any sense was swellling from arthritis in neck and shoulders. I did have lumbar fusion a year ago. PCP said no swollen lymph nodes and dismissed it. It just seems to be lymph accumulation during the day that drains overnight Like swollen ankles. Am on thyroid med and also on hydrochlorothiazide diuretic ). Otherwise healthy and energetic.

Thank you. I have the swelling mainly on the left. I M under a lot of stress, sit at a computer all day and go to school part time, raise a child, don't get enough exercise. I know I clench my jaw at night too. Time for me to relax. It's funny how whenever I google something the cancer word comes up in my search results. I think that is what scares us. Sometimes I think the neck and shoulder stress cause pain and simple swelling. When I lay down, the swelling goes down.

So odd that so many people are just not getting any answers. I've had the same gel-like swelling on each side of my neck....about the size of half a lemon.....my Gyno. looked at me and said "will if it's on both sides I wouldn't worry about it".....ass......he never even touched it. It has to be something...it is not normal. I've had it for maybe 4 months. Have no pain what so ever. I'm 62, non smoker, drink wine ocassionally, have Hypothyroid and take meds for it along with Atenolol of blood pressure. I have a desk job. Not much stress in my life. Pretty healthy. I'll be asking my other doctors about it too
