Hello everyone!

I have been having my issues with my stomach since I first went to college. Pretty much for years now I have had these bouts where for usually about an hours worth of time I will have insanelyyyyyy painful cramping of the lower stomach (I get dizzy, nauseous, shaky, sometimes a slight fever) and throughout it I have pretty bad diarrhea. The pain is so bad it feels like my insides are twisting and tearing and are about to explode (heat sometimes helps relax the pain, but not by much). By the time I finish using the toilet it feels like I drained my stomach to the point I was draining stomach acid (it burns to say the least). I find these bouts often occur after I eat or drink items that are greasy or contain milk/high sugar. Once in a blue moon I will have a bout where I hadn't eaten much food, but those are generally pretty short. While at college it was common for these stomach issues to happen about once a week. Since I have left it occurs maybe once every 1-2 months. My boyfriend tries to say he thinks it generally happens when I am stressed. While I have been able to live with my issues it has pretty much stopped me from eating at restaurants or fast food since it often occurs from those types of foods.

Now that I am older I have begun to also have blood in my stole every now and then, but I am pretty suspicious this is hemorrhoids for I tend to strain and it feels like I have torn something in my rectum when the blood happens. The blood is very bright red as if it is fresh. Usually there isn’t much blood, but now and then there will be a lot. My family does have a history of having hemorrhoids. However my concern major concern here is if I am having stomach acid from my diarrhea bouts, if it could potentially be damaging the lining in my rectum. I never had bleeding issues until after a few years of the stomach issues, and I find I bleed a bit more often after I have my bout.

I am curious if anyone might be able to relate to my issues. I have gone to the doctors and generally they tell me it’s nothing to worry about or I am lactose intolerant (even though I can often drink dairy without any issues???). Now that I have lost my health insurance I am a bit concerned that it might be something serious and I won’t be able to now pay for medical help. I just want to know if anyone might have answers and won’t just ignore my pleas like my doctors did for years.

Thanks!
