A different question, I can make sounds in my head only I can understand, but I don't understand how or why. I trid to explain this to my gf but she think Im watching to much tv. Does anyone have a clue what im talking about? Oh also I can make the sounds come and go as I please.
Thank you for this insight -Exploding sound syndrome . I started having this after my husband went thru a depression and anxiety period and I was always trying to take care of him and not getting enough sleep(about 2 years ago). It stopped for a while and then it started again recently ..And yes I noticed that I so was so tired after work and was trying to get some sleep and I hear this exploding sound .in my head and was startled by it. I thought someone was shooting outside or migt have been something in the TV that I was watching. Apparently not. And now iam concerned.. If this is the beginning of some issues.
Your message is awesome. It made me chuckle. I have the cracking and assumed it was my nervous system kicking in after 20years taking benzodiazapines.Full respect to your honesty. Me likey. ☺
Yes in a word. Our head is protected by the skull. Not a lot of separate joints. Joints crack often, but the skull doesn't. It's the pineal gland activating more. Not a real cracking just the sound of it as the calcification presses against our skulls as our body tries to rid itself of such toxins.
The explosion sound/feeling is common in pregnancy. Like a punch to the brain. Hope you can rectify this. Be well.
Imagination comes to mind. Can ur gf hear these sounds or just you?
Whats your proof of this can you elaborate? I actually do believe you and it makes sense to me and my situation i'd just like to see some studies articles or evidence if its available
Well.. it could be your pineal gland?
I am a spiritualist.. and in my research, as this gland becomes more active..hearing crackling is one of the symptoms

I agree! I started doing yoga about 10 years ago and my head started cracking within a few weeks. It still cracks whenever I am relaxed and aware of my body. I don't have any other symptoms and play high level sports, work full time and have a family. I have no concerns with mental illness or memory. I always think if you look for a problem in something you will probably find it. I agree...Just let it crack:)
I have had cracking noises in my brain for 2 years now along with a whooshing sound in my ear which drives me demented at times. Having an MRI scan to establish if I have tinnitis or not. Hope its not a tumour. My mother had one which was inoperable.
When you have anxiety or other problems some times your heart functions different when the circulatory system isn't working correctly it's not spreading enough blood or oxygen to your brain area when the created air pockets in the brain which cause cracking and poppin sounds that's the only thing it could be
I thought I was the only one that ever happened to...
DO not be afraid... I have had this more than once..over the yeas started in my early 30's...to add to the misery it feels like my brain splits in half very quietly I feel it splitting and falling apart..now I am an intelligent woman with an IQ of 139 I am not a dumby or psychotic...I have had some very important job in my life...when anxiety gets you down your brain is liable to do anything.. I am happy to hear others do suffer from some of the things I do.. when doctors say there is nothing wrong....
Have you seen a doctor? Sounds a little paranoia..and a little schizophrenic. Not saying you are crazy but some things that need more then this board. I would check with my family doctor
I have had the cackling noisy brains for years... I think your husband stirred up some anxiety in you..
