woke up in the morning with what looks like broken blood vessels under my left eye only..where eyeliner would go. why? and how long before it goes away? should i see a dermatolgist?
Vitamin K cream, soak a green-tea bag under the eye a few times a day, and brush it out with a hair comb gently around three times a day.
I have had broken blood vessels on my face since I was 12 years old...I assumed they were natural but the more I read up on them the more worried I became I am now 39 and they have embaressed me like forever lol....but I cant seem to get rid of them ....so I dont know what caused them ....I just cant seem to get rid of them ....but I have been to my dr and he said I was healthy so I know its not from anything on the inside ...
I too get the popped blood vessels around my eyes. I've been to dermatology school. When you get the bigger finicky ones that will not go away. Cleanse the area in alcohol and cleanse a needle w/ alchole and poke it with a needle at a 30 degree angle very gently and not deep. Remember the blood vessel is close to the surface. Do not poke the ones that are on the eyelid or lower eyelid. Those will fade in time. Use cold compresses as soon as those happen and wait them out. With using the small pin to pop the finicky blood vessel this will release pressure and blood that is built up under the surface layer. No need for lazer treatments that costs money. After you have completed poking the blood vessel it will appear to bleed what seems like a lot use a tissue a dab the blood also very gently assist with applying pressue around the popped blood vessel very gently like popping a zit and do not squeeze or you will bruise the skin. Then hold pressure down on the popped blood vessel until bleeding stops. You will noticebly see that prior to doing this procedure the red capillary is either no longer there or noticebly faded. After completing this cleanse the skin with a toner and use a cold compress and within days will see that its no longer there.
i have had broken capillaries all over my face chin to forehead for most of my adult life. Nothing helped, until I started using virgin
coconut oil for my eczema. The winter dry skin disappeared, along with eczema, and capillaries started healing. I do cover my pillow with a towel, so when I wear it to bed every night it won't get on my pillow. just keep away from your eyes, or it will burn. You have to wash it off in the morning, or it will eventually drip into your eyes. I experienced it getting in my eyes this week, even though it was 30 degrees outside, hardly enough warm weather to make you sweat. It took a couple weeks, but I noticed the redness disappearing. I do not have medical insurance for a doctor, so I have to look for home remedies that work. I hear that drinking chamomile tea helps reduce the redness, as well as using a vitamin k cream. The vitamin K cream makes sense to use as taking vitamin k orally, or eating foods that have it help to clot blood vessels. It has the same effect on your skin.I found out that using primrose oil capsules internally and externally helps. I hope all these tips can be helpful to someone, as they have been helpful to me. People would stare at me all the time, and sometimes even ask me why is my face red. I know that alcoholics usually have a red face, and people have even asked me if I drink alcohol. I do not drink any alcohol, so I know that's not the cause. I think its using water too hot in the shower, and maybe too hot to wash my face that caused it, along with sunburns, even though I use a sun block.

They go away in right around 3 days. I'm a 24 year old male, happens to me every single time I throw up. I've had them many times. Nothing to worry about, you will just look kind of sick for a while :p Only solution I've found is using my mothers make up (pretty gay right?) but hey, it stops people from noticing and commenting on them.
I recently used benzoyl peroxide on my face and it cause deep circles and broken capillaries under my eyes. Please somebody respond if the broken capillaries go away from being sick or anything because hopefully they will go away in my condition too. :/
Hey there. I know this post is over a year old, buy if you still have the broken blood vessel you might want to try my remedy. I had the same red dot on my nose for over three years and couldn't figure out how to get rid of it, even after annihilating it with peroxide scrub which left a crater that healed over without eliminating the s.o.b. About a week ago I had a hunch - instinctually I was compelled to burn it. Heating up a fine needle red hot, I set about cauterizing the little bastard, which left a gray charred area temporarily. A week later, it's healed up and finally gone.
I had a blood vessel break when I was around 10. It vanished when I was around 12... They stay for quite a while.
I literally just popped it with a needle. It bled a lot but now its not there. Ill let you know if it heals in time but it already looks better. No redness, just a small dark spot where the blood pooled after I popped it. I think thatll go away in a few days.
