Hello , i'm 17 years old and i have a problem. I just want to make sure what this is. bumps appear on my vagina area , not under the lips or anything just were the hair is . but i never had sex ever in my life. I started getting them when i was around 13 . I dont know if they are from shaving , but then again i do notice that they tend to come around when i shave or sometimes but i always keep that area clean everyday. I still haven't had sex. I try to pop them and puss comes out sometimes but sometimes they hurt really badly and they wont go away 8-| 8-| 8-| . Its getting closer to prom and i know that me and my boyfreind will probably want to be sexually active but i'm afraid . i dont know what to do please any suggestions are welcome

They probably are from shaving. Make sure you exfoliate before you shave and also try to shave at the end of your shower, so your pores are more open and the hair is softer.

sounds like you may have Folliculitis. Infection of the hair follicles. I got that once due to waxing. I don't' know why you're getting infected follicles from just shaving though. If you're using shaving cream and a sharp razor, maybe try a single blade razor. Multi blade razors pull the hair up and cut it. That means more trauma for the hair follicle and more chance of infection. The shave won't be as close but it's something you could try.
