My sister is 42 years old and currently undergoing chemo therapy for her breast cancer. The prognosis is good so far, but I must admit that I never thought chemo could be so hard. It started with some minor burning sensations in the legs, but now the situation is much worse. Hair loss, appetite loss, pain, weakness, nausea, this all bothers her now; I just hope it will all end soon.
It is a good thing that chemo will help her deal with the cancer. I guess that knowing her prognosis is making her endure those side effects more easily. Then again, the other option is far worse. So, she will have to deal with it for some time more, but after that she will be as before and that’s the only thing that matters. I just wish her good luck!
