the reason there is a law is to protect naive children from getting pregnant until they understand what it means. the brain is still developing at that young age that is why the legal age for sex and drinking alcohol is around 20 years old. children should be worrying about their schooling and then finding a job so they can support a family first not sex
I understand why there is a law. But by having laws we are totally disregarding the fact, through ignorance of course, that needing to be in a relationship and wanting sex is INSTINCTIVE and a BIOLOGICAL function that is NATURAL and NORMAL and doesnt obey man made laws.

Sex and wanting to have sex is instinctive and happens naturally when an individual hits puberty. You dont need a "developed" brain for that. Brain development is not essential for sex and procreation. Society has been trying desperately to control the sexual behaviour of teens for a very long time. Yet, there are some of the highest rates of teen pregnancy in very developed countries like the USA where they have such strict laws and other things in place to prevent exactly this.
The laws DONT work and will never work. As a responsible society, we have to accept and come to terms that some teen girls and boys will want to have sex and will go on to have sex, come what may. They throw caution to the wind and disregard the laws. Many have older partners. What I have noticed and certainly in my case, older partners tend to be more responsible and make sure the girl does not come to any harm. It is the same age guys that are the source of issues, typically pregnancy in teen girls.
Alcohol is another topic and I could wax eloquent on this topic. Alcohol harms the developing brain. Sex does not harm or destroy the development of the brain. There is a huge difference and you CANNOT and MUST NOT compare the two. This is like chalk and cheese. There is a difference.
Children do what children want to do. Most children will follow instructions and will go down the narrow path their families have carved out for them.
SOME though will want to have relationships and sex. Those are the ones who we need to prepare so they come to no harm. If we do not prepare them, then we are the ones who will regret.
If the teen is showing and displaying signs of wanting to be sexually active, there is absolutely no point in trying to stifle or restrict them. You have to protect and prepare them in case they do go on to have sex. That is the most responsible thing you could do. Telling them to abstain and forcing them to abstain will have very serious consequences.
