As Natalia said, unless there is specific warning from your doctor that you don’t have sex, for example if your pregnancy is under a bigger risk for miscarriage or if you also have some additional health condition that might lead to complications in pregnancy. The general rule is, if your doctor hasn’t said that you can’t have sex, it’s pretty safe to do so, including masturbation – given only that you maybe need to be more careful about the hygiene.
Masturbation will not affect the growth of the baby in any way, except that it might make you less stressed out and more relaxed, which is always a good thing. So, if you are having normal pregnancy, it’s perfectly fine to masturbate or to have sex.
