ok to the guy that got an MRI after doing it only one time. seems like a health problem to me. unless u abused it that night or o.d. .btw i read about o.d.ing on coke. it doesnt always mean heart attack or death. some over doses r extreme and end fast. heres the link http://www.adanz.org.nz/Helpline/Subnav/Drug%20Information/cocaine my bf had one had me call 911 thought he was dying. but he mixed it with alcohol n weed bad idea. however its true. he was fine with in mins again. like one guy said he mixed suboxine with cocaine same thing.
its highly addictive yes. but opiates like vicodin have more physical withdrawl. read about it. n cocaine is more pyschological withdraw. also take a xanax n go to sleep after u come down it will help. everyones diff. if ur having all these bad things its because u have prob had an adverse reaction. so stay away. as far as the guy with the MRI.. come on.. 1 line is not gonna give u a MRI. sounds like he had other health issues. maybe alcholism. who knows.. xo

i did like 5 lines about 5 months ago. it was my first and only time. I craved it for like 2 weeks and then i got over it. I actually felt good for those two weeks. i felt excited. we all have stress on a daily basis and for whatever reason i just did my uni school stuff and parttime work without worrying about it. I felt really good that my mind was giving little wieght to my everyday responsibilities. I wanted to do more coke but i didnt cause i knew it would be silly to listen to that voice. anyway im going to southamerica for 2 month in the new year and im thinking of scoring some in bolivia if its readily availible. but i guess my point is that the effects vary on ppl and this whole talk about brain damage is a little off

I heartily disagree that "this whole talk about brain damage is a little off!" I did some coke on occasion because it was free, had incredible highs, felt like c**p for awhile & then was OK, not plagued by the need to keep finding more. In fact, I quit all drugs long ago. But... it really doesn't always work that way for everyone. A girlfriend of mine sort of followed the same path, but kept looking for a recreational high. She now has a destroyed septum & in her words, "has f___ed up her brain" so that the pleasure centers no longer respond right, even though she's been off the drug for almost 2 years. At this time, she's barely able to physically & mentally function day by day, has a caretaker to help her and is taking painkillers for a sinus condition.

I had about 9 lines of coke for the first time like 6 weeks ago and have experienced strong anxiety ever since. The main symptom that I have is that I don't feel normal - I feel generally unhappy - and dont get the same amount of pleasure from things as I usually would. I´m not sure if I damaged the dopamine system or some part of the brain or whether I´ve just developed an anxiety disorder of some sort. Has anyone yet made a full recovery? As someone else said it would be nice to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Cheers

I spent some time during my early 20s using coke lots of it, i mean lots. Intravenous as well as snorting it. I went through the same things some of you are talking about when I -quit-. I am not a doctor but the feeling of anxiety and general unease sounds a lot like withdrawl symptoms guys. I had about 6 months of that going on. Keep in mind this is some highly addictive stuff your messing with. It doesn't take much (or long) to get somewhere you don't wanna be. Best recommendation now that you've done it leave it alone and the feelings will pass with time.

The very strongest of the stimulant drugs in pharmacology that I have ever seen in my 22 years of service have not had an effect lasting longer than 24 hours on any patient, unless it drove them completely mad or killed them. I experimented with cocaine while I was In college and probably spent about 40,000 dollars on it; and out of all of the cuts and "bad sh*t" I've gotten, and even the good, never once has any experience with it lasted more than an hour or two.
Your brain is the most powerful enemy you could have. Your worries about having done this drug are what truly harm you. I would recommend that you not worry about every twitch your muscles make and thank "GOD" that you have a healthy body and mind because there are those who truly suffer.

it will not cause permanent brain damage i had used cocaine for 2 years a long time ago and am now clean if u do it longer yes you will... i will see things that are not there or become overly paranoid that someone is always watching me or triing to kill me..... to put it simply... dont do it

Cocaine use with alcohol results in a large increase in neurotoxic byproducts from your liver having to process the alcohol as well as the Cocaine. Marijuana also causes the same thing, but to a lesser degree.

he was exactly on the money with that hell, if anything thats happened to me if i only do alot of it but even than i only feel f'd up the next day for a bit until i eat, but not to that extent of overexaggeration, also it might help to just think positive rather than contemplate if u permanantly damged ur brain

Wow. Maybe you feel all feel disoriented and have anxiety because you did COCAINE, and THEN you drank alcohol! DingDing! Hello?! I'm no angel by any means, but are you REALLY wondering if this causes brain damage? Come - on. Grow the f' up. Yes, it does, you're dumb.

Hi
I've been around the party scene enough to have tried it more than a couple of times. I find that it can be detrimental to many bodily functions for days after I've done it. Some things that tend to help me are vitamin B complex and a drug called GABA that you can find off the shelf at health food stores. It's good for the nervous system and helps regulate dopamine production which cocaine interferes with.
Hope this helps.
