So heres my story...
I was leaving a party... As i went i kissed some girls goodbye, One of them came down from upstairs to give me a kiss
Well it turns out that the girl who cam from upstairs was giving a BJ to a boy....
Now i was worried that mabey his semen could of transfered from her lips (Or tounge) onto my lips... I didnt open my mouth but i cant remember now if she opened hers...
Anyway i was more worried if the seamen could get into a little cut or opening inside my mouth by me licking my lips after the kiss (I cant remember myself having any bleeding gums etc but it was 10 weeks ago now)

Some people told me im at no risk beacuse the air, Temp, Saliva etc would have killed the virus...

But to be on the safe side i decided to go for a HIV DUO test at 6 weeks, It came back negative
While waiting for my result for the DUO i also went for a rapid one (Nerves got the better of me) and at 7 weeks the rapid test was negative, I have just recently done one at 9 weeks and again is negative

I havent really had any symptoms, Ive had some pains in my groin, A sore throat and noticed my tongues a wierd grey colour (But then again ive never studied my tongue so much) but apart from that nothing (No swollen nodes in my neck etc)

I was just wondering ,
Do you think i was ever at risk?
How reliable are my tests?

Please Reply
Holy c**p you are STILL worrying about this? Look you do not have HIV. 3 tests and all were negative. You likely was never at risk cause the guy most likely NEVER had HIV.

Wrathofjade,

It's obvious that this kid is worried, otherwise he wouldn't be here. Please, just tone your responses down a tad, you'll get more with sugar than you get with lemon.

I know that he is worried but it's the third time he's asked the same thing. I dunno what more he wants when every time people tell him he's fine and he's even had the tests to prove it.

I understand that I need to calm down and to the OP I'm sorry for being rude If i was but really there is nothing more anyone here can say that we have not already told you. The tests are quite reliable and you should just forget about it. Clearly it is hard for you too but if this continues for you to be a problem then perhaps you should seek counseling cause it might be some underlying paranoia or problem. You do not have HIV. Even if you did we here, over the internet, would not be able to diagnose it.

I will try to move on from this... the only thing that is stopping me is my dam tongue... I seem to have these white spots on it... They go up and down, Im guessing it may be due to stress but everytime i look at them the worry comes back :-(

For your worrying, it is natural! It is constant dread when one tries to pinpoint it to specific disease. You have done three tests and all were negative. Hopefully they were done at 3 months from the last exposure. If you have been doing it every month, try and wait every three months to get tested for HIV.
For your pictures, its looks like cold sores. It could be from stress, making out with or sharing things with other peoples. Are they sore when your tongue touches your teeth? If so, then it is cold sores. Try not to worry bout the incident, it was a low or no risk at all. Take cares.

Well i havent tested past the 3 month mark yet but with my tests at;
6 weeks
7 weeks
and 9 weeks

Surley this is a good indicator? I mean % wise what would i be at testing negative at 9/10 weeks mark?

The 3 month mark is around the 17th November...

Hey Dear Question24,
There is no need for an apology. That is what we are here for. Sometimes when we worry, a lot, the questions and concerns get a little repititious, but this is all very undertstandable for someone who is young and petrified. Sometimes, contstant reassurance is comforting, even tho SOME may find it annoying, it's all good. I am so happy for you, now you can rest easy. You have learned your lesson, yes? Live and laugh, but be careful who you love my friend.

HIV is very scary and I think that your reaction (from what I've read here) has been very understandable and I don't think you actually made any enemies here. Did you make a donation to an HIV/AIDS charity? If so, which one? I'd like to hear who you donated to. Let me know, okay?
