I deal with it and I didn't even realize it was different than most people until I experimented with a girl. Then I got really uncomfortable because I kept comparing them, but she liked it and so did my ex-ex boyfriend. The only time I really had a problem with it was with my last boyfriend. He told me he thought my vagina looked "different" because I apparently must have slept around a lot. That hurt, so I gave up sex and ALL activity for 5 months. No change. But, I too am really worried about moving further with my new boyfriend. I only had one guy I felt completely comfortable with and I'm afraid my new boyfriend will think it's weird. Ugh. :/
I am forty-seven , and I have had a LOT of sex with a variety of partners. No one ever remarked about my labia at all; it was only recently that I even noticed that most women weren't like me. I would say that mine are the most pronounced labia that I've ever seen.
There is no loss of sensitivity; in fact, I read somewhere that hypertrophy involves a greater number of blood vessels & therefore potentially MORE nerves, sensation, etc.
The only problem I have ever had is that sometimes they can get in the way of penetration a little, I just move them aside. I look at cutting your labia like I do piercing your tongue: Go ahead if you want to, but who wants to go messing with a major source of pleasurable sensation? It works fine like it is.

Having larger lips creates more friction down there while having intercourse, it is way more pleasurable. I have this too & no guy has ever said anything negative about it, they have actually said it feels better. I'm proud of it & everyone else who does should be too. :-)
I also have this problem, and it doesn't seem to be stopping... does anyone know how to make them stop growing?
