Hi there,
I just have a question, what if one has sex when the period is due or over due by a couple of days but you can feel it coming, the cramps n all. If after the sex you still don't get any period and cramps come and go. Is there a possibility you could be pregnant? I heard you can't be pregnant if you have intercourse just before period, there are high chances afterwards?

Don't think there is any possibilty of already being pregnant as nothing happened after the last period.

Thank you for your response in anticipation.
It really all depends upon when you ovulate. On an average cycle you ovulate between days 10-16. Semen can remain viable for about 5 days in your vagina. The egg, is only viable for about 48 hours after release.

It is possible to get pregnant early. Once the egg is no longer viable, you won't get pregnant.

If you don't have your period then yes, you may be pregnant. Again, there are exceptions to this. Some women have irregular periods or they may be delayed due to infection, etc.

Hope it helps.
