Dear Friend,

It is unfortunate that we cannot send emails to eachother so that we will be able to talk privately. From the experiences at University and from what I red, the reason for someone to say that the nose is out of shape can be two reasons.

Let us start with the first one. It can be the result of BDD (Body Dismorfic Disorder) where patients are obsessed with how much the nose is not in good shape. They tend to exagerate when looking themselves at a mirror. It is a psychologic disorder.

The second reason is that the nose is realy in a bad condition. Now I became aware that some American surgeons tend to be aggressive with paticular procedures and such practices will eventually lead them to gain more money. To be honest, my local plastic surgeon in Europe who is also registered at the American Society of PS asked me for about 2,500 Euros for a revision Rhinoplasty which would be a conservative rhinoplasty revision, when I flew to the US because I thought that ads would convey a product features, after surgery I am dissatisfied and paid 12,000Euros. However, cannot really tell you tht I am unhappy because am stiill waiting for the swelling to go down (after several months)- that is what I have been told by surgeon, yet I do not know how it can improve as swelling will go down!!! will wait and see.

Really wish to help you and comment on the surgeon who operated my nose and send you pics of before nd after to have an idea,,but cannot speak publicly about it for now!!and there is a reason behind all this. Perhaps when the time for a revison will come, there will be information guiding me on how to improve it. Really cannot cannot tell you more, and it is at the top of my tongue to express my story but this will not lead me to anything good for the nose....sorry :-( :-( :-( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

wish you good luck,,nd do yr research well!! :-P
