Hi Everyone
For the past 6 months I have had this hard pea sized lump on my upper eyelid. Went to the GP and all she said was that if it was not actually effecting my day to day life as in my eyesight etc. then I should wait it out and in the meantime use hot compresses several times a day to help draw the fluid out. Unfortunately, I leave the house at 7am and not back home until 8pm so it is impossible to do this several times a day - I try to in the mornings, maybe sometimes at lunch and when I get home. This is obviously not doing anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last week it got abit bigger and even though it looked awful I think maybe it was coming to a head but nothing is happening.
Obviously this is now effecting my confidence a lot but I am terrified of the surgery. Is there any other avenues I can take before I go ahead with the surgery. I have been reading other peoples chalazions are sometimes the size of grapes - obviously mine is not that big so thinking I may have luck getting rid of it another way??
Please help I am so fed up of this ugly thing !!!!!!!!!!! :(
