I have been experiencing the same thing as well...after a night out of consuming alcohol , i wake up feeling constant pains on the chest..if i dont consume alcohol for the next one or two days , the pain goes away..but when i wake up feeling those pains and i take 2 beers in the morning, the pain goes away...what could be the problem?.

Its been 3 days that i stopped drinking i use to be a daily drinker, ive been habeing chest pains you think itll go away now that i have stopped drinking completely

How tall are you??! Becuase if you are tall.. Taller people sometimes have weak spots in the lungs.. I know this because I hsve it and I also get minor to severe severe sever pains in the left side.. With my left shoulder Arm and chest hurting to the point wher w I just lay down and consentrate on my breathing.. Lung specialist sees nothing work... But ultra sound does.... Had a Pneumothorax installed into my. Lungs... Simply the only thing that had helped me

Same exact thing... Ecept I been going threw this for regularly for a year... Stop drinking ad let your body detox.... I get minor to severe severe severe pains... Sometimes I'll have one beer and my lung opens up again.. Others time ill drink a bottle to my face and I'll be fine.. But after back to back days if hard drinking.. I'm all locked up and in severe pain again

I have also been experiencing the same thing but with a slight difference. For me, it happens only if I have beer- even 2 glasses/jars of beer is enough for the pain to start. But, I don't have this pain if I have whisky/ wine/vodka...

You’re answer seems more valid than the rest. Have been diagnosed with gurd. The alcohol chest pain only happens if I drink acidic drinks. Like Margritas are Wine.

Why would my chest get real tight when I drink alcoholic mixed drinks? The chest gets real tight, and I have a problem catching my breath. Any suggestions?
