I am 39 years old and have been recently diagnosed with MRSA. I have been battling chronic skin infections for about 3 years beginning with my torso, breasts, inner thighs, and buttocks, and then within the last year my face. I have been on every antibiotic known to man, and done "wet wraps", weekly but every since the infection started showing on my face, it just hasn't stopped. It will clear in one area (only on the surface) and start swelling and erupting in another area just as the last one heals. Usually there are more than 2 or 3 at a time and it is so upsetting because I used to have beautiful skin. Now I am really worried that I have something else because of my newest (6-8 months) symptoms involving my hands aching and numbness in the fingers, and my knees, and joints in that area are always sore and really ache when I bend them. I have not been truly active in over a year now, and I wondered if anyone recognized these symptoms and could help me.
