I've had stomach issues for years. Acid reflux, erosions on my esophagus, gastritis, inflamed stomach nodules. What I have noticed over the years is that a lot of the acid reducing meds cause a lot of side effects. I've tried numerous meds...prevacid, nexium, zantac, prilosec, protonix, tums, gastrex, etc. Day after taking them, guaranteed loose stool. After zantac or prilosec the stool is orange. Sometimes nausea subsides briefly after taking them but then get a feeling of hunger and nausea. I don't know what to do anymore!

Alicia.  You ready.    Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother.  You probably going to have to go to a health food store.. though lately I have bore witness to Walmart stocking it made by a big name brand...  If it were me tho, id stick with the health food store.. Its gotta have the Mother.  The processed vinegar not good for ya.  Let me put it to you this way when it comes to its ability to knock indigestion on its rear end..  Simply, you know the sound a lit match makes when you put it out in water.  Pssst..  Exactly!!!  Haha.  Not only will it do that but if taken on the regular... once every 2 days maybe.. it will help to heal and reverse the effect of the reflux on your throat and reverse a hyletic hernia.

A shot glass half full a good place to start on dosing..  not much more than a full shot though..  full shots good when you want to do another little wonder this stuff does.. that being it will strip the old lining of your stomach and small intestines leaving fresh new layer.. i dunno.. should it happen to be a thing you wanted to do haha.

There ya go, the fix and cure..  spread the knowledge :)

Hi,

Here is my story:

I started having gastrointestinal issues (abdominal cramps/pains, flatulent which was extremely painful, some urges to have bowel movement) so I went to my primary doctor. My doctor ordered a blood work, a stool sample (CAMPYLOBACTER SALMONELLA SHIGELLA YERSINIA, STOOL CULTURE), and referred me to a GI.

I saw the GI which took a couple months for him to see me and he told me that I should wait 6 months for my body to get better, adjust my diet, and gave me Omeprazole. I waited the 6 months, adjusted my diet but still had painful gastrointestinal issues, which were getting worse (abdominal cramps/pains, flatulent, rush to use the bathroom in the morning with multiple bowel movements with diarrhea, fatigue, urges to have bowel movement). When I saw the GI again I told him about this after 6 months and he ordered a colonoscopy and endoscopy which took another 2 months and came back that everything was ok. He said I had IBS and put me on Dicyclomine and said it would relieve the pain. This did not help and I just tried to make myself think it was all in my head. I started waking up 2 hours before work so I could go to the bathroom about 3 times with diarrhea towards the end and felt worn out.

A few months later (like 2 years after the start of this hell) I got body aches and a fever on top of the gastrointestinal issues. I went to the doctor and was told that it was influenza and take a week off work. I took off work for the week but still had the same problems but got Bells Palsy and went back to the doctor. I was told that I got another case of influenza and given prednisone for the palsy. A few days later I developed flushing in my face and my doctor acted like it would just go away. After a week I went to the Hospital and was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. It was stage 2 level 1 (affected my heart. I was in the hospital for 6 days and treated for a month on an intravenous antibiotic (I think it was Ceftin). The Lyme disease got better but I still have all the gastrointestinal problems.

A month after treatment for the Lyme disease I went back to my primary care doctor for a follow up and she said I was ok (still notice a slight pain in my jaw from time to time so I need to follow up with another doctor). I told her I was still having gastrointestinal problems and she said annoyingly that I could see another GI for a second opinion, which I told her I wanted.

The 2nd GI doctor seemed concerned and scheduled 2 MRIs (one with contrast) and I asked for 3 OVA and Parasite Stool Samples which he agreed to do. I did the MRIs and stools. MRIs fine but one of the stool samples tested positive for Giardia Lambia (it was great to find out the problem but I was also shocked/confused/angry that it took this long, words can’t describe it). I was put on Flagyl for 7 day 250 mg.

The first 4 days I noticed I felt a little better. Around day 5 I started getting weird stomach/cramping and still the other problems, which lasted like 5 days. After that I still had to watch what I ate and got cramps, urges to use the bathroom but it was better. I still had to go to the bathroom like 3 times in the morning with the diarrhea. I noticed things slowly improving. The cramps in the morning (awful) and constant cramps during the day weren’t as bad.

I developed a boil on my butt cheek a week after stopping the Flagyl and had to get it treated by lancing (painful) and an antibiotic Bactrim (10 days) for MRSA.  The MRSA did come back 3 times but was eventually cured with Bactrim with other medications.

I got tested 3 OVA and Parasite Stool Samples at 3 months and 6 months after treatment which came back negative.

My small intestines still bother me from time to time.  Bentyl does seem to help but makes me drowsy.   I also like Tramadol because it makes me feel peppy.  It's been like 4 years since this all started so god I hope it will be fine soon but I think this is my new life, abdominal pain from time to time and watching what I eat.  It sucks because I really don't want to do anything because of this.

I hope my story can help someone. Make sure you push your doctor(s) for all the tests possible. Definitely get Ova and Parasite Stool samples done (at least 3 but don’t stop if you don’t feel better).

Hi there.i am now 29 yo I have had the same problems for about 6 years. Loose stools in the morning with nausea, usually better in the evening. Along with acid reflux and esophagitis which started after a course of antibiotics. I had tried almost every thing through out the years and nothing worked or seemed to last. Saw many many doctors for gastro problems and fatigue but nothing had really worked. I researched for years and even went back to school for biology because I had become so interested in medicine and learning why some many of us have digestive issues and most seem to start after antibiotics. They really do wipe out our gut florA which is necessary for a healthy digestive track. Even though I don't believe there is any easy way to restore this. The methods that I currently use to help are taking a high dose probiotic no less than 20 billion. Must most importantly you need to take saccharomyces boulardii. Which is a yeast probiotic that actually crowds out bad bacteria and harmful yeast. I stopped taking rx acid reducers which are doing more damage than good and started using digestive enzymes instead which works much better and helps to digest your food properly. And I take glutamine powder which helps to repair your digestive track and on the plus side is fairly cheap and has lots of other benefits. I would be lying if I said that this problem is completely solved. But these supplements have worked far better than any thing I have received from a doctor. Hope this helps

I'm a 19 year old female and i never had stomach or dogestive problems until this past year. I used to eat alot and feel nothing. in june 2013 I vomited after over eating one night. I thought nothing of it. At the same time I started having anxiety attacks and dizziness My anxiety consisted of loss of appetite, dizziness, going to the bathroom the second I wake up in the morning and nausea. The second I open my eyes my anxiety kicks in. I have been suffering ever since. It is impossible to eat anything because my throat will close up an reject it. The only thing I have to do is let my stomach clear out and lay down up to 2 hours until the symptoms have passed. I have bags under my eyes and red eyes constantly now. What really scared me was about 2 weeks ago I have vertigo (I think) and the room spun for 24 hours and I went to the bathroom 5 times and almost vomited. No food. No drink. No hope! My anxiety has been at an all time high lately and I don't know what to do. I have taken pregnancy tests--- all negative. I haven't been tested for anything else but I'm hoping to find an answer. I have never felt more exhausted, depressed, and anxious. I hope we all find answers for our problems.

If you had a parasite you may still have one, there are different types. I have the similar problem. Paracites are hard to test for. The medicine kills the weak and makes the strong paracites stronger. It sounds like you are passing paracite waste. Parasites goals are to kill their host so a stronger host can eat the existing host therefore it can continue. I would beging looking at everything you can find on paracites. you may need to take natural suppliments to clear the paracites. I know that in todays world there is a lot of things or germs being moved around the world every day. The stress of not knowing is making things worst. Just researching the possibility an taking steps to confirm or cure makes a difference. Also paracites can cause leaky gut which takes a long time to heal. good luck

Hi Geezy: I have many of the same symptoms that you do, esp with the morning bowel movement ritual. I've had IBS for years, but this issue with the bowels/nausea just really started that badly for me in the past couple months, and especially bad the past couple of weeks. Back in Dec/Jan, I had been swimming in a public pool regularly, swallowed some water while swimming. Never thought a thing about it until I read about giardia. Anyway, I came down with 2 bacterial infections within about 3 months - the first one diagnosed as bronchitis but the cough stayed with me forever (months til it finally subsided). Then, another bacterial infection and treatment supposed cellulitis in my lower legs. Both conditions were treated with antibiotics which seemed to help. Now I have nausea after eating, loss of appetite. I'm so frustrated that I've started doing some of my own research. Wondering if the swimming didn't give me a case of re-occuring giardia, which can be caused by bacteria in pools that has been swallowed (ie, babies allowed in pools who have diapers on, etc.). Many children get it but so do adults who frequent pools and it can also be caught by handling things that others have who have the infection. It can be treated and then many times, comes back. Stool sample testing can reveal if you have the parasite. I'm going to get this done once I can get back to my doctor in a couple of weeks (he's booked solid). In the meantime, alternative med sites have said that coconut oil and grapefruit seed extract 20-30 drops 3 times per day is supposed to help. At this point, I'm willing to try anything that sounds like it could be beneficial. Let me know how it's going for you and if you found out anything that could be helpful.

My problems started 3 months ago. I was prescribed Cipro for a possible UTI. Two weeks after finishing I took a nasal spray and NSAIDS, which is rumored to trigger Fluoroquinolone Toxicity. Look this up and read about it. It has MANY issues, including an array of GI problems. At this point, I started with diarrhea, muscle shaking, muscle soreness, shaking, internal vibration, slight dizziness, loss of appetite, stomach cramps, and many other symptoms. After hours of research and consultations with my acupuncturist and changing Primary Care physicians to someone that was an internist and integrative medicine, I know a lot of my problems (if not all) are in my gut.

I was treated for C diff (with Flagyl) that felt like it was killing me slowly. After 7 days, I took myself off of them and was tested negative for C diff, ova & parasites, & H pylori. My bowel movements have improved but I'm currently experiencing most of what everyone else is. Stomach cramping in the AM with feelings of lethargy and shaking. I was also having severe nausea in the AM but was prescribed Ranitidine until I had it under control. I stoped taking it yesterday. I have loose BM 1-3 times during the AM hours. After, I have less cramping. I generally feel better throughout the day and feel pretty good in the evening hours with occasional almost normal (more formed) BMs. I feel that the problem is associated with IBS & leaky gut but really is due to my intestinal flora being wiped out!

Unfortunately, I have severe stomach cramping with probiotics (2 different kinds). I'm going to keep trying to find one that works for me as well as increase my yogurt/Kefir intake. I'm currently taking L-Glutathione supplement, Curcumin, Digestive Enzymes & Vit D (was tested very low). I also was referred to doTerra oils (DigestZen & DDR Prime), which i've read amazing things about. I've been on them for 1 week and I do feel that they help but very slowly. Hopefully, I'll be able to tell more in the future with them. I also take Coconut Oil and am about to start Bone Broth. I've cut out gluten and most dairy. This is a healing process and unfortunately I'm a terribly impatient person. I'm going to try to stay consistent & hopeful. I do feel in my heart this is going to take time.

This sounds like the same problems i have. In addition to the loose morning stools, I spend the first couple of hours in the am blowing my nose. Have you found any cure yet?

I'm from peru. I hope you can understand my English. I've experience the same problems of loose stools in the morning for more than two years, then I did my research and I found out that my problem problably lies in my gut flora; that's why I started consuming yougurt, believe it or not I had my stomack back for almost one week but then I started with kefir and I don't know why I went back to the begining now I don't know. Should I continue with kefir or just take kefir but this worries me a lot.
if you have any answer or this info simply helps you. I'll be glad to tell you more about my heath. God mbless you all and help you with your every day fight
sincerely

This may be TOO MUCH stomach acid. Been researching it for months. Search it and what you think.

Just out of curiosity, was anyone else hyperventilating while they pooped and became nauseas?  I have something very similar to what you are all discussing. Im a 33 year old male, with a history of horrible dietary choices. For the last year, i have been waking up with a slight discomfort to my lower GI area, felt like i had to poop. Then i would go sit on the pot, 5 minutes into it, i would start to hyperventilate. Then get nauseated. So i jumped into a hot shower because all my upper back muscles feel like they are severely knotted. That helped for like 30 minutes. Then the feverish symptoms came on, and i couldn't comprehend what people were saying to me. I would wait for the hot water to return and jump into another and i would feel fine the rest of the day. Then it got worse and the nausea changed to uncontrollable vomitting. Went to the ER twice. Had a UGI test done that came back clear. Blood is also cleared of anything abnormal. Doc thought it was GERD, but after UGI was clear i am going in for re evaluation Christmas Eve 2014

what i've found that helps . I've cut 90% of the fat out of my diet and i haven't had any nausea or hyperventilation. But i do still wake up every morning after about 6 hours of sleep having to poop. A great natural and tasty treat for people who have a hard time stopping themselves from sweets is 1% vanilla yogurt with raspberries bluberries strawberries and cinnamon graham crackers. All are low fat and the crackers are surprisingly not that bad for you either. Hot showers helped my back knots, nausea, and hyperventilating. Like 110*  shower.
