Dear SteadyHealth:

I am 43 years old. I have been suffering from prostatitis off and on since 2000.
However it has only become truly chronoi wirhin the last year and a half.

During this time my wife and I have not been able to conceive a child.
We currently have one bou who is two years old.

My symptoms are chronic prostatrate pain from fron to back. Frequent urination. and more.

My lab results have revealed normal sperm count but poor morphology and motility.

My last testosterone reading was 157 ng/dl. I have recently been retested but don't have result.

I was also fotund to have a mild varicocele but my present doctor says not to worry.

I know stress may also be a contributing factor Howver I hope this problem can be reversible
of at least worked around. I am never given straight anwers from the urologists.

I know there is no exact answer byt I just cannot understand how my health could have turned around so drastically
in such a short perioed of time.

Incidentally he just put me on a cycle of antibiotics,

From your standpoint can you please tell me what would appear to be happening?

I appreciate your assistance.
I have had chronic prostate pain for 1 1/2 years. Plus, my wife and I have not been able to conceive during this time. Does prostatitis cause terminal infertility, from your experience?
