Hi, I have been reacting stangely (very bad fever, nausea, and recently possible rashes) to ANYTHING that has citrus in it for the past six months or so, it has been becoming increasingly bad, while i was undertaking study in a childcare course i came into contact with an 'all natural' hand soap and 'citron' cleaning products, which induced these reactions (which also now seem to be being brought on by drinks containing citric acid), i was wondering (since the only comment my doctor made was 'there is no way I can test you) if there was a way i could see if it IS actually the citrus in these things making me become ill, (as my family and friends do no believe it is the case) and any other suggestions as to what might be wrong?

Citric acid is typically derived from corn. Do you react to actual citrus fruits now, like an orange or lemon?
