I was diagnosed with PCOS and a 2cm uterine fibroid 2 years ago, last October I managed to cure my PCOS with the help of my homeopathy and traditional Chinese doctor, I never took the birth control pill like my gyno wanted me to because my problems were caused by hormonal imbalance and the pill would not cure the problem just cover it up.
I started having the clear discharge on my last day of my period around the same time I cured my PCOS so I thought it was related to that but now that i know my fibroid grew to 10cm I'm thinking the clear liquid is because the fibroid got bigger and maybe the uterus is trying to push it out or something...

Ugh, its so annoying I have been having it for almost 10 months everytime I am on my period! And I feel so self concious about it , I cant sneeze, laugh too hard, cough, or go to the gym. And it smells weird.. I dont have a doctor but seeing these comments I am guessing they still dont have an answer about this
I’m 13 and this is happening to me too, I don’t know why but I assume it’s normal seeing as how many people are experiencing it.
Hi, this is just your body cleaning it self. It your period was heavy, then exept your discharge to be as well. The pink flesh was parts of your uterus that has shedded some tissue. ( its completely normal)
I am experiencing the same thing and have not gotten any answers. I went to my gyn Dr, while it was happening and she can’t make sense of it. I have since gone to get blood draw for more test but thus far I am cleared of any stds and my ultrasound was normal (internal & external)
Hello ladies! I realize this thread is a little old but I too have had this happen many times. Like some of you have said, doctors have no idea what it is or why. I am not on the pill but I do have one suggestion...the only logical explanation I can come up with, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome(PCOS). I have had PCOS all my life, but the clear watery substance didn't start until about a year ago. I believe when the cyst ruptures, the sac fluid drains out. Maybe I just didn't notice this in the previous years somehow?! Do any of you have PCOS??
hi i noticed this because its most recent i am on searching because im having this problem and when i talk to even friends and my doctor no one has herd of this! your thoughts on it are the same as mine it makes very good sense! i dont know if i have PCOS but im waiting to get checked out!
I found this quite interesting as a week ago i was having some lower abdominal pain, i went to see a gyne as i was getting freaked out. We went through a physical exam and a couple urine tests. Sent me home seeing nothing wrong and saying i should just see my family dr if it persists. Now just today (period started this morning) i took out my d-cup to clean and instead of blood it was filled with a translucent fluid, no odour. Found it strange as ita never happened before.
I have large uterine fibroids and have the same issue. Assuming it is related.
I have pcos and have been dealing with this for probably over a year now... but figured it was normal. I’m guessing this is something I should bring up at my next obgyn visit! Have you learned anything new about this issue?
This has been happening to me for the past 2 times!! I’m so confused what it is... I feel like I’m bleeding though and I go look and there is a big wet spot, and it smells too. I have no idea what it is and neither does anyone else.. thank god it’s not just me that this is happening to

This happened to me a few years ago, just a handful of times. And now it’s happening again. Tampon soaked through with clear, odourless fluid. I couldn’t find anything about it last time, and it seems no progress has been made since!! Lots of people experiencing it, and Doctors clueless!! I have fibroids too... I see a lot of people mentioning those. Does a fibroid best and release fluid? Is something producing amniotic fluid from somewhere? Is it blood plasma. I have no clue. It’s strange that it comes, completely purely (as in not mixed with blood) from a place I know if full of blood. if you see what I mean. It’s like pouring lemonade out of a coke bottle, then coke, then lemonade again. Very odd. If anyone hears anything then let us know!
I’m 50 and this is happening to me for a few years. This time however I’ve only spotted and had the clear fluid. No real period per say. I’m just thinking I’m going into menopause but it seems so many people of all ages are having this happen, so I don’t really know and can’t find much on the subject.
