Now that my nephew has become more active physically, he has been suffering from pain in his legs when they fall asleep. He is four and of course he doesn't know his legs are falling asleep; he only knows that it hurts. It is always the same leg and foot that he is having this issue with. He drinks plenty of water, and eats very healthy for a four year old. What can cause him to have these episodes and how can I remedy this?
Normally I would call these growing pains . As a kid it happened to me . And sometimes only one leg at a time . It can create referred pain to the foot even .also could be restless leg syndrome . Best thing is massage his leg and foot before bed for about 15 minutes . And try giving him a oat bath . This causes relaxation
