Okay, so I have been quite a bit of research on Candida, which may be known as Candida yeast infection or intestinal yeast infection. I was reading about some of the causes of this infection. It talks about people who drink too much alcohol, consume too much sugar, take too many antibiotics, pregnancy, poor diet, not excercising and others. I have a bunch of sites I saved, but I am not able to post them on here. I will try to post the site, but I will not add the www. or the .com if it's needed at the end. There is lots of info on the internet, just google search Candida and read more into it. Here goes some of the sites, I hope they come out

I remember one guy who came on here and he said that he drank quite a bit in college and that after he graduated he started to get these noises. I also remember one guy saying that he use to eat nothing but fast food and that these noises started up after that. Some people who take antibiotics also get affected.

Today I took a couple more pills of Probiotics and I have to say my stomach felt better. I took Acidophilus, which is a Probiotic from Natrol. When I usually burp before taking the pills my stomach would gurgle quite a bit, but after taking 2 pills at one time, it felt a lot better.

I was reading online about certain vitamins that can kill fungus, which grows from the yeast in our intestines. I went to the Vitamin Shoppe and I bought some more pills. I bought another bottle of Natrol Acidophilus Probiotic, which cost $6.39 for a bottle of 100 capsules. I bought a bottle of Psyllium Husks Fiber from Solgar for $14.95 for 200 Capsules. I also bought a bottle of Caprylic Acid from Vitamin Shoppe for $5.99 for 100 Capsules. I bought a bottle of Flax Seed Oil from Natrol for $8.79 for 90 softgels. I was looking for Bentonite and I found this Liquid bottle that is 32 oz. It's called Sonne's #7 which cost $13.99. I bought all these items for like $50, which I think is a great deal.

I was reading about how good Caprulic Acid for Intestinal fungus. I was reading about how Mucus, comes out in the stool and all this other good info. I thought I had Parasites, but I'm not too sure. I'm going to continue take the Paragone, but I will start taking all these other medications. I will probably wait on the Bentonite, because that looks pretty weird. I hope this is the problem and I hope this is the problem for some of you.

One other posted that our problems are probably caused by Parasites, Leaky Gut Syndrome and something else, that I can't remember. I think this may be my problem and I will keep you guys posted. Good Luck to everyone.

Hello Everyone,

I went to the Vitamin Shoppe and I bought a whole bunch of new things. I was reading online about different methods to treat Candida. Last night I took some garlic pills and some Zinc pills, this morning my stomach made some loud noises, that it hadn't made in weeks. I think/hope this is a good sign, because the cadida might be getting attacked. I've been on this Candida diet for like 2 weeks and I feel MUCH better. Also eating oatmeal in water is very helpful. I know it tastes BLAND and it smells like carboard, but it's good for you. I have been taking so many pills to a target this problem and I read its good not to take everything at once. Try to take like 2 pills everyday for a week then stop and then start another 2 pills for a week and then stop and so on. I was reading that this helps trick the Candida and it helps in not allowing the candida to become immune to all the pills. I wish I could get a colon transplant, but I guess that would be too much, so now I'll just resort to black walnut, milk thistle, probiotics, garlic pills, l-glutimine, bentonite, grapefruit seed extract and digestive enzymes. There are two other types, but I can't recall the names right now. Alright well I hope everyone will try this diet and take these pills and see if they work for you. This diet should be conducted for like 3 months from what I was reading.

I remember one person saying that they use to get chest pains after taking the probiotics and I use to get these chest pains too. I just thought that the good bacteria was killing the bad bacteria. Now that I have been taking these pills for 2 weeks I don't have any more pains in my chest. I would suggest you talk to a doctor, but I didn't. I really think that seeing a doctor can be a waste of time and most just want to charge the insurance company. I told myself that I would try this diet for 3 months and if I don't get rid of these noises, then I would go and see another doctor.

Well good luck everyone, Eric

Hi everyone. I found that taking liquid with my food aggravates the rumblings. Try eating food with less moisture in and drink water or juices a while after eating, not on a full stomach.

Yeah i'm 16 and recently i'm going through a fit of what appears to be (after some research) IBS my stomaches been a bit more "active" as of late and it's really killing my ability to focus in class and take my time on tests. It's affecting my grades, and it has made my attendance... hmm lackluster at best. (Cutting class, faking sick, Going to the nurse, ect)

I was wondering. If I do go and by some chance am diagnosed with IBS.
Is it possible that I could talk to the school counselor and perhaps have some absences excused and what not. Also we have a statewide exam (as most schools do). I cannot imagine actually being able to take an entire 6 hour test in an almost dead silent room. Is it possible to request a private test or something along those lines?

good luck with that. schools don't give a flip. they will not understand your situation. if they do, then i will be in shock.

Hi There,

It seems that your suffering from Amoebiasis. It is a parasitic infection caused by Entamoeba histolytica. It is usually contracted by ingesting water or food contaminated with amoebic cysts. When symptoms are present it is generally known as invasive amoebiasis. The bark of the Fig tree are valuable in resolving the Amoebic infection.

Hi there! I understand what you're going through.. I've dealt w/ IBS all through high school. I went to the doctor and got a note stating what I had, then gave it to my counselor (he was really nice about it). I also let my teachers know... they were really great too and would let me take tests in a separate room if I needed to.

As for the exam, you can try asking either your counselor or if it is one like the SATs or ACTs, you have to jump through a lot of hoops trying to get a single room (letting them know WAY in advance, then they have to review your request, etc). You can try that though.

Also, the night before the test, maybe try eating pretty bland foods. I know I would eat pasta the night before (no cheese or anything, just plain). Then in the morning I ate a little breakfast and took charcoal (which is usually pretty helpful). Peppermints are also good to have to settle your stomach.

Hope this helps a bit. :-) Good luck!!

My stomach makes noises way too often in class as well, and it's really annoying and embarrassing. But what I don't get is that, it happened all of a sudden. I'm eating the same foods as before, and nothing has changed. My doctor says I'm fine, but my stomach won't stop making noises. it's really embarrassing.

I have been having the same noisy stomach symdrome, but also it seems about an hour or so after I eat lunch the stomach will start chirping and then I have the need to go to the bathroom, doesn't happen with breakfast, or supper, just the lunch issue, it is so I am afraid to eat and then go to the mall at lunch for fear I will have to locate the ladies room ASAP!!!

I completely know what you all are talking about. I'm sitting here right now listening to my stomach make noises. I haven't investigated it or seen a doctor about it, but my theory is that it's all related to gas and excessive gas. As I said, I haven't done any research or anything on it, but I've noticed that it comes when I have a lot of gas and as a result am burping and need to pass gas. That's just my theory though because gas makes noise coming out of every other place, so why shouldn't it make noise when it's going through your stomach? Again, no idea, but that's my theory.

But I also would like anyone's advice on what to do to keep it quiet. Because I'm a college student and it's really embarrassing sitting in class and all of a sudden my stomach starts making these noises. And I'm getting to the level too where my classes are really really small (6 people or less) so they can tell it's me, and it's really embarrassing. Does anyone have any good ways to quiet it?

All you have to do is drink lots of water and go to the bathroom as often as possible and keep drinking water throughout the day. it works.

I have the same issues and am also a college student. I am lactose intolerant and taking the lactaid pill as well as drinking lactaid milk has helped a lot. however, sometimes the noises do come back after i eat certain foods, such as cheese. I will have to try cutting out certain foods to see what is causing the problem.
