Hi!
My boyfriend used to get really bad headaches which stopped for a while. Within the past 2 months, they have come back and they are worse than before, often leaving him unable to function, and they happen every day. He has had MRIs and x-rays, which have come back with nothing. He just recently had a CT scan and we're still waiting for the results but I have a bad feeling that they won't tell us much either. He has been on migraine medications, and percocets, but none have had any effect. He is currently on amitriptyline and it isn't doing much for him either. We have decided that they are not migraines because they do not cause any nausea or any other symptoms that migraines usually come with. His common symptoms are pressure, a burning pain, and a feeling he describes as "being stabbed in the head". He is allergic to most common painkillers such as acetaminophen and ibuprophen.

Has anybody else ever experienced this? Does anybody have any ideas as to what it could possibly be or what he can do to help?

Thank you so much!
