My pain management doc puts you to sleep for all facet or disc injections. Well worth the $. KP tries to do things to save themselves money. I truly don't think it's about the patient there.

I am experiencing headaches as we'll and was sent for an MRI and was told I had 3 bulging disks in my neck. Did you find out in the headaches were caused by the disk issues?

I have been suffering from neck pain as well headaches for more than 3 years. I had a MRI done about a year ago, I have bulging discs at the C6-C7. My neurosurgeon told me that I might need surgery in a future. I went to see a Chiropractor, physical therapies and last a pain management doctor. None of these took my pain away. Last thing I tried was the epidural inj. I had the injection about six months ago, but it did nothing. I still have my neck pain and headache. It was time wasted, and too risky. So my last option is surgery, hopefully this summer. So my point is I don't recommend the epidural injection because that is money wasted and too painful. Pain Doctors are getting rich with this injection.

The Texas back institute in plano texas is the best place in the world for disc problems. Dr ARAKAL is amazing I traveled from out of state there were people there from Switzerland, Canada, California, if you want relief check into this place. They fixed me I would never go to any other place.

I had c5 c6 bulging disk and had epidermal injections, 1st one burned like acid didn't do much (dr. said that was the meds working) 2nd one worked over weeks though. Not sure if it was coincidence or what but the pain almost totally went away. Its been 2 years now and it only hurts when I lift weights upper neck region. I now have chronic headaches from nerves in c1-3, chiropractor instantly helped. When it flares up he fixes it in 10 minutes.

I get horrid migraines. I go to urgent care when I can't stand them and they get rid of them. Not an answer but will help.....

I've had 2 epidural injections for bulging c6-c7. The first one helped for 4 days. The second helped a little more. I'm supposed to have a third one next week.

I have almost the same thing and I did have 1 epidural from the Pain Management Specialist and it was OK; not much pain involved with getting the shot. Also had physical therapy which helped tremendously. Had therapy for 8 weeks. I'm getting better!

I have 3 buldging discs and a reverse cervical curve. I have bad headaches all the time like my eyeballs are pulsating . It took me 2 mobths to go and get the injection because i was scared of a needle going into my neck. My headaches have subsided but i still get them here and there. I dont take pain meds bc they make me sick. I take muscle relaxers and anti inflamatory pills. I do massages for a living so a long day of that will aggravate my neck. The shot did help somewhat i go to see a neurologist in nov.
