I have Candida & I have hunger pains when I fast 1-2 meals to weaken the candida & draw them out of my intestines. I think these pains are caused when the microbes are drawn into my gut looking for food. When I have these pains I eat raw aloe vera leaf, or any herb that kills them. As soon as I eat it my stomach pains are gone.

Honey, go see a doctor. I had a friend who had severe menstrual pains all throughout high school. Hers would keep her home a lot. Til this day at age 35 she still gets them. They found out she has endometriosis. I hope you've seen someone by now.

Hi! I just came across this blog....has someone found an answer to their hunger pains? I have had the same issue for the last year now....it all started after i lost about 45 pounds of weight since i was considered over weight by my primary doctor....my weight was 215...i have had a few test done from an endoscopy to a h pylori test and everything came out negative. I have changed doctors multiple times because to get different opinions and they just prescribe acid reducers, run blood test, ultra sound test and nothing....other say that its stress or anxiety....but i feel i dont have any of those issues.....I feel the hunger pains right after i eat, belching through out the day and have a small burning sensation in my throat at times, acid blockers do not help so i dont know if it might be silent reflux or GERD....this has been an every day thing for the last year, i feel that i have lost the ability to live a normal life....i get desperate at times and get all this mood swings and take it on others because i just get annoyed by living with this every day....if any one has found a remedy or something that has helped them please let me know!

excess stomach acid many times causes the same feeling as hunger. to reduce the acid, stop drinking coffee and colas, no chocolate, tomatoes or spicy food. you can try OTC pepcid or zantac or even prilosec

You may have a food allergy. The symptoms you describe are very much like a gluten issue. Doctors are sometimes not helpful with food allergies, but you should look into this on your own and then if it seems like a possibility, you can talk to your doctor about testing for Celiac (there are two tests that should be done). If that turns up negative, you may still have a bad reaction to gluten - it just isn't officially Celiac (good, because this can be very serious). You can eliminate gluten from your diet and see how you feel. You could also have the bacterium H. pylori - it can be a precursor to an ulcer. It can be treated with heavy duty antibiotics - so if you do have it, be sure you are on on good pro-biotics to help build your gut/intestinal health.

I've had a gluten problem most of my life, but lived undiagnosed with the same symptoms you list here (even the greenish stools!). Look up good, reputable info on the gluten possibility (you can start with celiac.org). Good luck.

Hunger that won't go away. Three possible causes: not enough restorative sleep, not enough water, parasites.
