I agree same symptons after4 months
I agree---had surgery on both eyes from May to Sept in a study, it's now Dec, and I have more itching and discomfort--I use eye drops every day.
I had both my eyes done 3 months ago. I am having the same problems you describe. I cannot go outside even if it's cloudy without dark sunglasses and they don't help very much at all. I go to bed early because I can't keep my eyes open for the burning sensation and light sensitivity. I am using gel eyedrops all day long (Refresh Celluvisc) and eye ointment at night. It barely helps and my eye doctor who did the surgery just tells me to use over the counter eye drops because the surface of my eye is very dry. I think something didn't go right during the surgery. I know others who have had it and are not having any problems.
I regret having it done.... The feeling of something stuck in my eye is literally making me go mad... No doctor seems to care. It feels like the implant is too big or it is rubbing on something. I am considering legal action, nobody ever told me anything like this may happen. One week after my surgery, I developed a secondary cataract which they lasered off, still painful, othing works, nobody cares, they got my money.
I also have itch between the eyes after cataract removal, started to happen after about six months, also wondering if maybe it is something to do with covet 19
I agree ..had my surgery 2nd eye Oct. 13th. 2020 and my eyes itch and water and get so red, I can't wear makeup any more. I do believe the surgeon did something wrong that he isn't telling me. I use Genteal moderate daily, and the severe gel at night. Wish my eyes could be fixed so I could wear makeup again.
I had bilateral cataract surgery last year, which went well, without any complications. Now experiencing itching day and night. Is this normal and is there something I can do to stop it? Safe way?
