Hi, Jon here again.
Well after 2 weeks of using Dermovate (sorry I mixed the name up in the previous post with another cream) - I found that the benefits sort of plateaued. Since then, the feeling began to creep back up. Dermovate is a seriously strong steroid cream that thins the skin and can cause numbness - so the numbing was the benefit I was feeling.
SO, a trip to a urologist later, he said there was nothing physical. Swab cultures of my urethra and meatus were negative so there was no "exotic infection that people always think there will be." Admittedly I was hoping there was an infection so it was an easy answer. He said there was nothing more he could do. BUMMER.
So, a few weeks pass and my irritation/tingle/burn/urge is back to normal again. It's really bad. So, I decide to explore the simpler avenues. I changed washing power from bio to non-bio and only used half the recommended amount. I noticed some reduction, but I think this was mostly placebo. But I'll take it anyway.
NOW, here's where I genuinely think I have hit the jackpot. My symptoms have had about a 90% reduction in TWO DAYS from having this NON STOP for nearly a year.
I had see a few people mention the pudendal nerve; which runs from under your anus all through your pelvis; penis head included. Cyclists get an inflamed pudendal nerve which sends shooting pains down their backs/legs/groins if they are on the saddle too much. I researched the symptoms a few months ago and decided that this wasn't what I had. I had an irritation around my frenulum/tip of penis which felt like I needed the toilet; not constant shooting pains. But, I decided I would indulge myself and looked into how the pudendal nerve becomes aggravated.
Now cyclists get an extreme version, because the saddle sits inbetween their cheeks; aka right on the gooch. This is where the nerve is. So, I wondered if I perhaps had a minorly inflamed nerve; which was enough to irritate but not enough to cause shooting pains. So for the last 2 days, instead of sitting upright to try and correct my already bad posture, I slouched so far, that I wasn't sitting on my cheeks at all; I was sitting on my tail bone. I alternated this with sitting RIGHT at the edge of the seat (only about an inch of cheek contact). This means that your gooch (where the nerve is) is completely...well, basically up in the air. Which means no pressure. Also, I put an old xbox 360 box (for reference height) as a foot stool, to slightly raise my thighs from touching the chair, again, meaning the gooch was lifted too.
The first day, I had on and off irritation still. But today, I've had nearly a full day with absolutely NO irritation. It actually feels odd NOT to have a sensation down there that annoys the life out of me. I've also been lying on my bed face down watching Netflix rather than sitting up.
I'm in my mid twenties and cannot believe that I have a pinched pelvic nerve, but with a few weeks/months of reducing sitting time/sitting how I've described, the condition should completely go away. It's only now that I have made the connection between having a pinched nerve in my shoulder/back to the sensation - and it's nearly exactly the same! Try it for a few days guys, it's definitely working for me.
I was sitting for about 12-14 hours a day for 8 months straight due to unemployment/lifestyle changes and this is obviously what has caused it! Now even though I'm employed, the nerve is pinched even though I don't sit down all day. It really needs time with no aggravation to return to normal.
I genuinely hope a few of you try this and it works for you like it has for me.

Avoiding sitting on the are between my scrotum and anus has continued to have a good effect. It won't be an overnight change, but will take a few months at least. Another factor I've found hugely helpful is that if I have my legs as wide as possible, the urge is absent.
I spoke to NHS24 about this and all of the symptoms/the way I was sitting and they confirmed it was absolutely most like a nerve issue. They wouldn't specify which nerve and said that they only classify it under "Chronic Pelvic Pain" and that visitation to my GP would get me a very low dose of amitriptyline for a few months which is used for nerve pain and this would cure it.

Literally all the same symptoms as you guys. I believe the nerve being irritated, is likely. I got this after regularly riding a pit bike for the hell of it and asked the doc what is causing this. He said a nerve gets irritated.I have had this for like 5 days now and at some points it hurts, but right now it is just tingling. I never was a big masterbation guy over the past 2 years, because I should have sex. I was told by doctors at age 19, your penis recovers fast and having sex once a day isn't bad. I can't see that, that issue of having sex multiple times a week could cause this. There is a blog called the reborn man, ignore what the subject is about, because it is another condition I was afraid I had that is very scary that will just get you thinking more.
After saying that, Stretch your pelvic floor and legs. I think that will help. If I sit too long it tends to intensify if I am putting significant pressure on my pelvis and not my butt cheeks. IF anyone want to talk about this, hit me up..
