Any of the info below may be TMI but i just want to tell the complete story/truth so that someone can help me!
I am a 21 year old college student. I lost my virginity in late 2007 and have only ever had one sex partner. From the first time I had sex I would get a uti. Literally every time I have sex with him, I get UTI symptoms. It usually takes a few hours to a day but the pain with come. Constant burning, feeling like I have to pee. I will pee, it will hurt be dark and smell bad. 5 minutes later I have to pee again. I used to go to the doctor everytime. Then they would put me on an anti biotic then I would get a yeast infection. Then I would take medicine to get rid of my yeast infection. During this time I would not have sex because the anti biotic would cancel out my birth control. Then I would have sex again and go throw the exact same things. I pee before I have sex. I pee after I have sex. Ive tried washing before and after. Hes tried washing. I use a very mild soap. So does he. I only wear cotton underwear. At night I don't wear underwear. I tried cranberry juice. I drink a ton of water. By now I have learned that if I have sex, I can "flush out" the UTI by peeing right after and then drinking an enormous amount of water. So I have became pretty used to this and this is what I usually do. Last december, my boyfriend and I broke up. I stopped having sex and didnt have sex with anyone else. I also studied abroad and began drinking more heavily. I have noticed that i will get the SAME SYMPTOMS if I dont drink a lot of water. And when I say a lot of water I mean like 15 glasses a day. Not 8. For example, yesterday I had friends come from out of town. I drank water at breakfast. Then at lunch I had a fruit smoothie, at dinner I had lemonade and we went to the club and I had 1 beer. When I got home I had a pounding headache and I immediately assumed I was dehydrated. I quickly drank two large water bottles of water. Then the pain came. I was up until 4 AM peeing every 10 minutes. I took AZO tabs *I think I forgot to mention these earlier:: they sometimes help the pain** continued to drink water and finally around 4 am I was relaxed enough to fall asleep. The pain is so severe when it happens. Every time I go to the doctor they just write me an antibiotic to fix it. They dont seem to care that this is a chronic issue. I know that youre probably thinking "so what, drink a lot of water, flush it out and get over it" but this just isn't normal.
any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I thought I was the only one with this problem. I feel your pain. I've gone through the same procedures with doctors. Sex is an issue. This is a problem I do not have advice for because I am searching as well. HOWEVER, I have noticed when I eat more fruit, it feels better. That is about all I can tell you, I'm sorry I wish I had the answers.
Just wondering how you made out with your issue and if any doctor has appropriately tried to diagnose you. I had a medical proceedure and put on a very strong antibiotic which made me very suseptible to infections. I got UTI symptoms and just like I usually had in the past got antibiotics thinkiing it would go away within a day. I 've had cipro and bactrim prescribed with very minmal relief and in total have been having symptoms for over 2 weeks. Symptoms seem to go away and come back, very strange. I am 28 years old and only the third or fourth UTI I have had in my life so wondering why so hard to treat this time. Now which is very odd but I am having a tingling sensation. I have no clue what's going on.
I have had the same situation all of my life and have found several things to be true.
If I'm dehydrated, I will definitely get a bladder infection. Try going to a urologist, as this is something that they can give you answers to. We found through testing that a previous surgery from when I was an infant is the culprit. I cannot have this removed, and just live with it. She gave me a pill to take 1-2 days prior to having sex, and it does help - if I know ahead of time. Keeping a journal of what I eat also helps to see if I had triggers, & though we couldn't find one, I know women who have.
I wish you luck, and less problems! I know how badly this affects your life and relationships.

You sound like me & to be honest i realized it only happened when
I, was with1 certain person who had several partners

I don't mean to alarm you, but I would see your doctor about having a glucose test completed (blood sugar). Your constant dehydration and need for a high intake of water, well beyond the norm, is a very common sympton of diabetes. If this began to occue when you were 21, then there's a chance you could have juvenile diabetes. If not treated properly, juvenille diabetes can effect other parts of the body, all of which seem unrelated. I would strongly recommend being tested for this as soon as you can.
I have the same problem I get them frequently, and they are really annoying! My recent on started after having sex with my partner and I have no idea why. They get so bad that sometimes I have to sit in the bathroom all night, because I'm scared to leave, because I only have to run straight back again. I have been to the doctors and he gave me some antibiotics and they did get rid of it, but I'm fed up of going to the doctors ALL the time. I have started drinking more water in the hop that this might help, but at the moment it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Can anyone help??
Can having an UTI cause daily headaches to a boy?
