i have been a heavy smoker in past 4 to 5 years, cig and weed. I  have quit a few times for a month or so but got back into the habbit again. I have quit for good now, been about a month. I can go on hours on end  doing alot of sport have a greta stamina, even though i have a bad chest and get alot of pain.

Lately i have this taste of blood in my chest like i never have had before, i have registered with a gp today but cant be seen till monday. In mean time am kind of getting a little worried i have been constantly spitting up browny black mucus daily and sometimes in the mornings only spit up blood. anyone any advice :S

If i do have something bad is it reversiable? If i just do loads of sports and keep postive or is that some doc's trying to make ill people feel good?

Sounds like symptoms of lung cancer to me.
My dad died of C.O.P.D in May.  *and go figure im a smoker*
I would suggest you quit immediately, i know its hard but sooner is better then later.

I hope everything turns out okay, I wouldn't wish disease on anybody.   <3  Good luck.
