I have been suffering from ETD since July. Been on several types of sprays, antibiotics etc. to clear this clogged, crackling and sometimes dull earache not to mention my biggest nightmare of ears ringing 24/7. When I wake up it feels like the ringings gone until I get out of bed then it's starts all over again non-stop. Anyway, I woke up this morning with my mouth covered with mucus. I don't have a cold, even if I did it wouldn't be that bad. Could it be that my E tubes have drained out?
Hello,
I've had many a problem with my eustachian tubes. I have a low pressure syndrome that causes my e tubes to become inflammed to the point they are closed off. I've found that if I take an antihistamine before a low pressure event I can avoid the inflammation. If I don't, I get full blown what looks like flu/cold symtpms that can take me many months to get over. I really don't like taking antihistamines so I found a product called Alkalol. It's a liquid that you snort up your nose and it goes into your E tubes. The liquid is all natural and has the ability to break down mucus membranes. This opens your E tubes right away. I make sure I have some in the house at all times. Your tinnitis problem might be solved by taking another natural product that increases blood circulation. Quite often, ringing in the ears is due to poor circulation in that area. Ginkgo biloba is one such botanical and there are others. Many people have great relief with Ginkgo. As far as having mucus in your mouth it's possible that your sinuses drained and/or your E tubes.
