I went swimming recently, and when i came back, my penis was itching. Then my ball sack was all crusty...What is wrong? I'm freakin out!
Maybe you had a reaction to the pool chemicals?
I used to get jock itch quite a bit. Now it is pretty much under control. Here are some suggestions that helped me:
1) Wash your underwear in hot water seperately from your socks. Your feet tend to harmlessly build up more of the fungus that causes the problems because you can't wash your shoes. If you wash the items together, the foot fungas will spread to your underwear. Also, try to use white underwear that you can lightly bleach. (it kills the fungus)
2) Don't use so much detergent when washing your underwear that it does not rinse out. Sometimes the detergent causes problems on this sensitive area and consider changing detergents especially if a new detergent coincides with the outbreak.
3) Try boxers or not so tight breifs during the day, and definitely do not sleep in breifs. Also shorts will keep things cooler and dryer than long pants.
4) A light sprinkling of Tinactin or another antifungal powder will help but the problem will not go away as long as there is fungus in your underwear. Be careful not to put too much powder on, or it may cause some peeling down there. The peeling is harmless, but a little frightning.
5) Change your underwear every day or even twice a day. (this may also have the benefit of cutting down on the spooge odor and increase your popularity)
6) Try some other soaps and avoid liquid soaps. These are not fully saponified (turned from oil to soap) and thus tend to leave oils on your skin that both increase perspiration and give the fungus something to eat sand grow on.
7) Wash off right after sex. All vaginas are somewhat yeasty (yeast is a fungus) and this can cause irritation.

Yo people. .. It's not your underwear or detergent that causes your unusual skin condition. If it is not an std, you are in luck!
You have to stop masturbating with skin Irritants! Your two in one cure and lubricant is: Palmers Cocaoa Butter with vitamin 8 in hard form.
You will see amazing results in just days and only cost a few bucks and no embarrasment. THIS IS A MUST PURCHASE ITEM FOR YOUR HEALTH. Just one of those things Docs won't suggest because it doesn't require a prescription.

Though this board does not allow advertisements, this sounds like an endorsement from someone who has experienced the product. And I've heard of this product also.
We're not convinced that this is the right treatment for the condition, but a moisturizing skin lotion really can't hurt the general public, no matter how you are using it.
