Don't be embarrassed. This is a problem that happens to a lot of people so don't feel self-conscious at all. Now just to be clear, have you been cut on the inside or the outside of your actual rectum? If you are cut on the outside then you can use anything to clean the wound like neosporin or bactrim or something along those lines. If you are cut on the inside then I don't know why she didn't actually prescribe you something. Give her a call and ask what would be safe to use.
